Greetings fellow gamers

I own Crysis, Crysis Warhead and Crysis 2 on Steam, but for some reason Crysis 3 isn't on there.
Is Origin the only way I can buy and download Crysis 3 onto my PC without using a disc? Or is there another well trusted and reliable service/program I can use?

Thanks in advance

Greetings. Crysis 3 on PC requires Origin, even if you install it from a disc, or buy it from another store.

I have the game on Origin. I have the card to run it on Ultra and I say unto you my friend.

Get Origin and get the game. There is no shame. Origin is not a bad client. It has a much better offline mode than steam.

Origin gets a bad rap because "Hurr Durr EA is the Devilz"

And Crysis 3 is the BEST they have done. the first game+Warhead is still the king but 3 comes close second. Graphics are awesome, acting is really good. Gameplay is solid. Soundtrack is pretty badass.

Crysis 3 is really underrated.

I'm kind of naturally reluctant of late to install or buy anything that has EA's name on it, I only ever get their games on sale or when they come down in price significantly, I mean they arn't exactly the white knights of the gaming industry are they?
But I digress, I'll install Origin if that is pretty much the only way. I own most Crysis games, but I've currently only played up to the 'Awakening' mission on Crysis, loving it so far (the sandbox elements are great), but how do the other games compare just out of interest?
Origin is in fact required to play Crysis 3 and can not be bought through Steam. Origin has sales sometimes but they're nowhere near as good as Steam's or Gog's sales. However, You're not locked into buying directly from Origin. You can buy an Origin key for Crysis 3 from several third party vendors. The best places in my experience has been from Amazon and Greenmangaming.com. I prefer to buy Origin keys from Greenman since they typically offer Origin exclusive game keys at 75% off and can be combined with (usually) a 20% off coupon voucher. In the case of Crysis 3, Greenman had a sale on it for $5 and I combined it with the 20% off coupon which brought it down to $4.

Hope this helps you. :)

I say all of them are pretty equal in gameplay. With Crysis 1 edgeing it out by having a bigger sandbox gameplay. More controls like Proneing and leaning and better Armor systems. Max Speed and Max Strength was funner in Crysis 1.

But Crysis 3 still has alot going for it my you.
Ok thanks everyone for your replies, might as well go with Origin, I apparently already have an account made in 2013 which I definitely don't remember making but...meh
