"Already funded" is a bit of an understatement here. They've blown past their goal with 44 days to go. :)

Is it actually confirmed DRM free? (not the fakeDRMfreehavingtouseSteamtodownload)
Remember "Pure Pwnage", the web series from 2004 that gave us "BOOM HEADSHOT!" and "Everyone runs faster with a knife"?
There's a movie in the works and it's not yet too late to give them money.

Neither direction - DRM-free or DRM - are confirmed yet. Steam for the digital version is likely. No information at all for the physical versions.

Yes, that seems the likely path. Given that, and the prices for the pledge levels, easier just to wait for the game to come out and then see what the scheme is.

Combine it with the fact that they plan to sell the game a second time for the censor and uncensored version, it seems more prudent to wait and see if you don't want to pay a second time for the "complete" experience.

Agreed. What's worse that a DRM'd game? A censored DRM'd game.

upping the bet: A censored DRM'd game that is get sold to you twice.

I'd be funny if it weren't sadly true.

Hummm, I don't know which is worse, A censored DRM'd game that is get sold to you twice, or a game with kickstarter exclusive game changing content.

The former require you to pay more to get the complete experience, but the latter will never allow you to complete your experience because you do not back kickstarter and no way to pay more to complete your experience.

Like paper sorcerer, it is really a neat game, but I am a bit miffed when I learn that I can never play the two exclusive character "Succubus" and "Dryad" because I am not a kickstarter backer that time even though I had poured thousands in crowdfunding project.

Im continually baffled why devs cannot (or refuse to) confirm drm free options *before* a KS finishes....

Guess the other thing is, seems KS deemed some tiers inappropiate (oh come on...) and removed them along with the pledges.....is that the censorship thing you guys are going on about?.

No. Look here, some of the game content will be cut and they plan to sell the uncut version as s separate product.

In the industry (I’m referring to Japan in this case), all-ages and 18+ versions of the same game are considered COMPLETELY different products and thus why they are usually promoted separately. In this case, they want that to be very clear on the separation of the title’s content.

Off topic but interesting fact about crowdfunding
Also, after the success of kickstarter, many try to emulate the success of crowdfunding

Damn, that is galling. Especially as I like that game, and didn't realise there was content that I cannot get for it. Leaves a bad impression of the developers now.

Probably because a number of them are hoping they can get released on a DRM'd service, and thus prevaricate until such a thing is achieved. They view a DRM-free release as the lowest goal, only to be done if they can't get it out the way they prefer.
