park_84: I was searching some article about an actual event that happened in Spain but I've stopped because it is quite gruesome, so I will better try with this milder creepy ventriloquist dummy.
Nice one ; ) But this giveaway is +18 (as the game is 18+), so if you have something good...
high rated
Hey;) I'm this game's creator, so I won't be applying for the prize;) BUT, I've got a creepy story to tell! And it involves The Cat Lady... so listen up folks;)

Spoiler !!!!

There's a part in the game where you sneak through a house inhabited by a couple of maniacs- a pest cotrol man and his crazy wife in a bloody nurse outfit. From the programming side of things, that place was a maze of code- there are so many variables involved I often found myself lost in it myself... ;) But I know what I've done and thought nothing could surprise me.

So, I was watching Cry's playthrough of TCL on YouTube and as he made his way through the kitchen occupied with a puzzle he'd just figured out a solution for- suddenly, the nurse comes into the kitchen, jumps at Susan and chops her up to bits with a cleaver...

The creepy thing here is... that...

I didn't script that.

A game character took a life of their own. Is the game haunted?....

So it happens in all you games... Do you know what Agnes (both versions) does in Downfall? Sometimes she creeped me out more than any intentional scary moment ; )

And BTW, nice to see you here!

I'm in for the GOG verison, thank you!

I'v always been creeped out by the story of Julia Pastrana. She was born with a rare genetic condition that made her hairy and deformed, so she spent her life as a freak show attraction. She was bought from her mother by the freak circus owner, who later married her. She died giving birth to her son, who had inherited her genetic condition. Her husband stuffed both his wife and son and kept showing them off in his circus after their deaths.

Well, it's about this tragedy. After that some eerie stories about road ghosts and wandering lost souls turned up, but the real disaster is frightening enough for itself, and a bit surreal, like a scene from any Final Destination movie. Take care when searching more info if you get easily shocked, it's not hard to come across with pictures of the burned dead bodies.
Kreepy Kat BUMP!

In for GOG cat lady!

Here's a twofer: first is the only creepypasta that ever managed to scare me.

Second is a link to one of my favorite Lovecraft stories, The Rats in the Walls, which I believe has entered public domain.

Dear Competitors, I have one anouncement two questions for you:

Question 1:
Whad do you think about closing the contest on Tuesday night, so that those less fortunate Competitors can still buy the game with -25% discound on Wednesday?

Announcement:
The Cat Lady is doing pretty good on GOG bestsellers list and that's another reason to celebrate! I'd like to anounce that if The Cat Lady beats Omerta on the wishlist when the contest ends, I'll get one more GOG code for the TCL to give!

Addendum:
It's not that I have anything against Omerta. I decided to make it the breaking point due to the recent controversy that the game caused. Yeah, cheap of me ; )

Question 2:
If one more code appears in this giveaway, does anybody have an idea about picking the winner? We have one category for luck, one category for creativity and one for personal tale... Should we choose a judge to pick the final winner? Or maybe make it a separate giveaway?
Give me some ideas!

It's creepypasta of course

if it's not against the rules, have this one too. And even if it is, just enjoy it, it's a classic:
The last man on Earth sat alone in a room. There was a knock on the door...
