ddickinson: Are you looking forward to Windows 10? I think I will stay with Windows 7.

My day has been a bit like that. I have been a sleep for most of the day, I even slept through my partner getting home. But I woke up in time to spend a few hours with her before she needed to get some sleep.

I played a bit of Lumino City with my partner earlier, we finally finished it. It's a very lovely adventure game, but a bit too expensive for me at full prize, especially as it was not too long.

ElTerprise: You're welcome *big return hug*
Well things liken these happen but today was definitely off the scale...West Hamburg wasn't reachable via train for some time...that was new....

That's totally understandable :)
At least I can get my own back with some gifting on the 16th. *evil grin*

Was it caused by an accident, or more strikes?

AgentBirdnest: I've only played bits of the second and third Saints Row games, but thought they were really fun. I'll have to revisit those sometime.

Most of my list is probably FPS games, but apparently I have a soft spot for tower defense (well, the Anomaly games are tower offense, but close enough! :-p)
The fourth one is my very favourite. It's batshit crazy and it cracks me up everytime. :P My favourite part is a sequence in which you're in a spaceship being chased by aliens, and you have to escape while 'What Is Love' by Haddaway is playing loudly in the background. xD

I haven't played many FPS games, as they sometimes make me a bit nauseous. Which are your favourites? Tower Defense is not really my thing, although some of those games look quite fancy.

the 16th?

ddickinson: I did enjoy the game, but for me the $23+ price tag was a little high for the 4 hours it took for us to finish. It was a lovely game, the sets are so nicely done and the game was lots of fun. The puzzles were good as well, nice and logical, with a nice variation between them.
That's certainly understandable. It does seem like quite a high price.
I generally consider a game worth it if I can get $1/hour out of it. So, by my logic, Deus Ex is worth about $916... which actually sounds too cheap to me :-)

*stop playing with hair* It was fun now your hair is all slimmy.

FearfulSymmetry: Well, we all know not having a toaster can be a serious impairment. I for one never manage to swallow my bread in the morning unless it's been toasted. :P

*super huge hug* Yep, I'm doing fine. Tomorrow my sister and I are going shopping in another city, which should be fun. Friday will be less fun, because I've got both a doctor's visit and an appointment with my dentist. Oh well, getting them all over with in one go. :P
I hope you and your sister have lots of fun. What kind of shops will you be visiting? Do you have anything in mind to buy, or will you just be looking and see what catches your eye?

I am seeing some doctors on friday as well, for another scan and some blood results, as well as a general checkup as to how things are going. No dentist though, so at least I am spared that. :-)

*big super special mega huge hug*

I will have a look at them tomorrow.

So how are you, have you had a nice day?

Soccorro: the 16th?
It's EIT's birthday. I am in charge of the gifting group. Once we get his list I will see if we can get him some lovely games for his birthday. :-)

I think I am just a bit spoilt due to all the sales. The game is really good, and I would recommend it, but compared to other games that you could get for that price, or for several games you could get for that price, I am not sure it would be worth it. For me at least, I know we are all different when it comes to price to hour ration. Definitely one to get on sale thought.

Oh no, that's not possible, I just washed my hair! It just smells of coconut now. :P

Definitely the American Book Center and some clothing shops we don't have in our own part of the country. Other than that we're just planning on walking around and doing what we feel like doing. Oh, and we're going to have a nice lunch somewhere. :)

Good luck with your doctor's visit! Those visits are never fun but hopefully they do help. And yeah, I have to get a filling, so I'm not really looking forward to it. xD Not that it's really that painful or anything, I just have an irrational (mild) fear of dentists and hairdressers.

Yes :D...but why the evil grin? ;)

Don't know but definitely not by strike because the strike's over and the union got most of its demands fulfilled...
I heard it was because of people being on the rails - attempted suicides maybe...

You had me at the books :-). Although the clothes shopping sounds nice as well. It sounds like you will have a fun day, hopefully it will be lots and lots of fun and you will have a great time together.

Thank you. It should be fine, just routine stuff, although the weight loss is a little worrying. I will see what they think when I talk to the specialist. Hopefully it is just side effects of the whole thing and it will just take time.

Good luck with your dentist. I was never too keen on the dentist. Luckily I only have to see him for checkups now and then.

*Godzilla size hug*

That scene is awesome :D
Although i personally prefer Saints Row The Third over IV (but only slightly) :)

What evil grin. I don't know what you mean. :-)

Hopefully it was just attempted suicides. It's never nice when people commit suicide. :-(
