Congrats to the tree winners, all excellent entries, I really liked that one at the museum.
I knew I wouldn't have a chance without having such good photo editing skills... but it was fun, and fun to share the entries with others.
Phew... here's my entry.
Thank you kind - now I know, how I look, spending some quality time with my noble 486 junk :)
Actually, I re-thought about the image after I submitted it... and I didn't wanted to be offensive, but yes it can be interpreted in an offensive manner.
The real intention was to highlight the ease of use when playing the games purchased from GOG, doing only what really matters to gamers from the actual generation, you know: play a game. That is what I meant by having a slick netbook in your lap, with an old game running in it after a double click in an .exe.
Sorry if you felt it was wrong or something. Hardware isn't junk. I know there are people that like to fiddle with the hardware and software to make them work like it's back in the day, more than actually playing the game.
And yes, I'm fine with people liking that stuff; it's even human history, computer history after all. ;)
