This is a giveaway for people who don't use twitter.

THE RULES:

— Post something about GOG and/or MaGog here.
— Entries have to be MORE than 140 characters total.
— Entrants must not have used twitter in 2015 (and do not plan to do so in the remaining month or so).
— Entrants must have a positive forum presence for at least a few months. By positive presence I mean being generally nice to other people, answering questions, offering advice, maintaining lists, harmlessly joking around, playing non-giveaway forum games, searching for Ricky, complaining about the hardships of life on GOG, that sort of thing.
— Entrants must not use the phrases "not in", "I'm out", "not participating", or similar ones
— You can edit your post(s) as much as you want.

CLARIFICATION:

— GOG and MaGog are in no way and have never been meant to carry satanic overtones.

THE PRIZE:

The winner will be picked randomly.

— Only place — the prize.

Remember to watch this thread for when the winner announcement is made (probably soon, where soon is probably this weekend)!

P.S. In case you haven't figured it out, this giveaway is a reaction to this one.

Does it have to be something nice?

Just kidding, cheers for the lovely GA, that's a pretty juicy prize. lots of people will be happy to claim it.

I will post something in the next couple of days - can I edit this post then, or should I make a new one?

Ah, I see you've chosen a title that aptly embodies the GOG forum experience.

Well, I would like to be included in the draw.

I've never used Twitter nor going to use it myself in future. I can understand Tweeter opportunites for some companies or organizations to be, for example, in contact with their clients (especially if it's online company and their own online services went suddenly down), but I have no use for it as a private person. Maybe I'm too old for this. Still, I wonder why GOG is trying to convince us to use something they do not own or some of us do not want to use for personal privacy reasons.
On twitter since early 2008. But thank you for the giveaway, mrkgnao.

P.S. I am, however, proud to say that I still have no facebook page.
Post something about GOG...? Okay.

GOG.

EDIT: I thought it was a joke giveaway... turns out its a real one, oh my!

Love GOG so much that I can't stop myself from not using Twitter. It also makes the other gaming thingies look like some steaming pile of... you know what that is. GOG has restored my faith in the PC platform, and also killed my further need for Twitter, because who needs to tweet-tweet anymore? Tweeting is not really a great thing to do nowadays huh. What's more, GOG provides you DRM-free copies of games, so you can install them no matter your connection to Twitter. By this point I've written more than what Twitter would allow me, it is all thanks to the almighty GOG. Through GOG I get manuals, reference cards, wallpapers, avatars, soundtracks, ringtones, interviews, comics, level editors, and other unheard materials, that basically the game I bought is not only the game but also an entire package, and what's not to love, even if you don't need to download them? Can you do any of that on Twitter now? It is all thanks to GOG!

amok: I'm out then.
I had always thought 'a positive forum presense' was just about my rep score. This thing about being 'nice to other people' sounds way confusing.
