I'm fascinated with computers and the hardware inside them, So I thought about starting a topic about this for fun.
Your computer doesn't need to be high spec or anything just what you use(for gaming or otherwise), hope people find
this as interesting as me! :)

My Current Computer Specs:

Build Date:
5-23-2012

MOBO:
ASUS M5A78L-M LX PLUS AM3+ MICRO-ATX

CPU:
AMD Athlon II X4 B55 Rana Quad-Core @ 3.3GHz Each (Basic overclock from 3 cores)

RAM:
8GB (2x4GB) CORSAIR XMS DDR3 @ 1333Mhz

GPU:
ASUS GeForce GT 520 1GB 64-Bit GDDR3 (Passively Cooled, No Fans)

HDD:
1TB Western Digital Blue (only a couple of months old, old one died)

PSU:
Thermaltake TR2 430W (Left over from my previous [FAULTY] 2011 computer)

CASE:
NZXT Source 210 Black ATX Mid Tower

OS:
Xubuntu 14.04 LTS (Currently at least, used Arch Linux when I built the computer)

I find the GPU suitable as it did precisely what I wanted: Play Legend of Grimrock through wine
(before the linux version), Sauerbraten MP (All maps over 60 FPS @ 1920x1200) and old crpgs
like Planescape Torment and Baldur's Gates.

I'm surprised at the stuff it can handle, but if you have the money and the PSU, I'm sure a 660 or 760 would be a better choice. Selling my old card and buying this, I only spent 90 dollars, which is why I chose it. I wanted an AMD 265, but it just wasn't getting released.
Here they are :

I love this thing. It is so f'n fast and better than that, so QUIET. It certainly wasn't the most cost-effective solution, but I love it anyway. Plays everything I've ever thrown at it maxxed out.
