Hi there. I've been a member of GOG for almost a year now, and it's awesome. I just go the Witcher enhanced Edition a a host of other great games. It's fantastic. But I do have a question, and I hope someone out here can help me, even if it is to just point me to the right Thread to post on.
I'm relatively dumb when it comes to computers. Essentially, I push the button and make everything go. Pathetic, yeah. But, I do have a question. It took forever to download the Witcher, and i don't feel like doing that again any time soon. So if something happens to my computer or the game itself, I'd like to have a back up. Only, I don't know how to do that.
If someone with the knowhow can take pity upon me and let me know the (most likely) simple way of doing so, that'd be great. Even if all you do is get me to the right place to post this request, well, that'd be fantastic. Thank you.

There were 6 files you downloaded from your shelf or using the downloader:

setup_the_witcher_enhanced_edition.exe
setup_the_witcher_enhanced_edition-1.bin
setup_the_witcher_enhanced_edition-2.bin
setup_the_witcher_enhanced_edition-3.bin
setup_the_witcher_enhanced_edition-4.bin
setup_the_witcher_enhanced_edition-5.bin

These are everything you need. Just move them wherever you want to store the backup, on another drive, burn on a DVD or multiple DVDs, whatever. Just make sure you have all of them and you can reinstall the game anywhere and at any time you want.

You are awesome. I think even my computer challenged mind can handle that, so thanks!
Anyone remember a game called "Sid & Al's Incredible Toons"?
i recall wasting a lot of time in that.
a classic casual puzzle style game.. :)
any chance we may see this long dead game?
Does it even have a license holder anymore given Sierra went the way of the dodo years ago?

I will be overhauling the first post in a few days, so guys, please don't forget to keep on suggesting threads.
Hey man, thanks for the effort. One suggestion: I think the titles of the threads should be a little more obvious. Right now I find it more helpful to see where they link to; the descriptions make it more confusing for me e.g. "Free games here" vs "Free-to-use software listing and removing". Would it be a better idea to just use the respective thread titles instead of having a description, or at least to put the thread titles first in front of the description? Just throwing an idea out here.

Yea, yea, I understand. Will overhaul the whole thing, as I've said in the PM (before seeing your post here). Give me a few days, I have an exam on Thursday, but after that I am free. So, Thursday night, or Friday it is.
Finally updated the list!

Please let me know if anything needs to be included.
