Hey, we just got some sweet releases on GOG: Quake IV and Doom 3: BFG Edition.

Sadly both releases are not available for German customers. While Quake IV got a censored/modified release in Germany Doom 3 BFG Edition is widely available in German stores and on Steam. At least in the last case this seems to be a mistake on either Bethesda's and/or GOG's side.

Post in this thread if you are affected by the region lock and need a helping hand with buying these titles. Also post in this thread if you are willing to help these players out by buying gift codes for one or both games.

So, I would love to get both games.

Want: Doom 3: BFG Edition and Quake 4.
Have: Asortment of GOG and Steam keys, PayPal money.

Poor Cookie Monster is affected too. Can't get the games, because I live in Germany.

Not really interested in Quake 4, but I'd love to get a copy of Doom 3. So if anyone is willing to trade, please tell me.

Thank you very much, but it's no longer neccessary. Doom3 BFG Edition (that I wanted) is now accessible for German customers. :)

Since Doom 3 is now available to German customers, I'll only need help getting Quake 4.

If you wish to arrange a trade with me, we can do that. When the Wolfenstein games and Quake 2 and 3 were released, GOG users Fuin and IamSinistar came through for me. I'd like to handle the trade as I did with them: the person willing to gift Quake 4 to me will receive "store credit" with me, equal to or slightly above the current price for Quake 4. That means, if you want me to buy a GOG game for you in exchange for Quake 4, I will.

Please help me, if you can. :)
