Stranger than fiction.

Crossing Souls is coming soon, DRM-free to GOG.com.
Looks like the summer of 1986 is going to be quite the (bicycle) ride for these five intrepid friends! Thanks to the properties of the peculiar pink stone they discovered, each can now pull off unique action-adventure stunts, fight off monsters or secret government agents, and generally engage in totally tubular 80s high jinks that would make all future kids super-jealous!

Try the Demo to get a taste of what's in store.
looks pretty cool. i'll cheque out the demo I suppose.

is also awaiting breja. :D

No need, it's free! :P

PS: Thanks Fourattic/Devolver Digital for the multiplatform demo!
This one looks really interesting (especially for people like me,who grew up in the 80s). I willdefinitely check out the demo.

Oh don't you even start :P I was so happy when I started watching the trailer. I thought it looks awesome... and then BAM! PIXELS, BITCH! I'm so sick of this. I though this looks really unique, but no, it actually looks like every other pixel game. Seriously, just by looking at the screenshots I would not be able to tell if it's this game, or Party Hard, or Beat Cop or something else. It's all so dull. Such a waste of a great opportunity.

want me to recommend a good optometrist?
So... Stranger Things: The Game?

According to Twitter, release date is February 13. Will it be released at the same time on Steam and GOG?

After trying the demo for about 15 minutes, I'd say it's more like Everything 80's: The Game. And when I say everything, I really mean eve-ry-thing. xD

This time around, Breja is actually right. It's not just pixels in general but a specific, particularly obnoxious style of character designs, particularly inappropriate for a game in which you're supposed to care about the characters. I'm still very interested in the game but ew.

welll... the point is though... i see clear differences between those games, they are not similar at all.

and I don't mind, the style is not far from lucas art, which works well for me. not my type of game these days, though, I am more into laid-back sandbox with little narrative currently.

and no, your point is very different than Breja's point. Your point is that pixels may not be the best for this kind of games, Breja's is that "I am sick of pixels, all pixel games are the same".... very different.

umm... that made no sense what-so-ever... sorry.

I guess it was your equivalent of "I am rubber, you are glue".
