Who is the deadliest of them all?

Black Mirror is coming soon to GOG.com.
A re-imagining of the beloved gothic horror adventure series by the creators of The Book of Unwritten Tales. When his father commits suicide, estranged son David Gordon ventures into Scotland and the isolated family castle, only to find himself pulled into a maelstrom of sinister forces, deadly secrets, and nightmarish visions.

Watch the spooky trailer.

PaterAlf: Where do you see the original Darksiders 1 in the catalogue? The only thing I find is Darksiders Warmastered Edition. And on the gamecard the original game isn't mentioned as a bonus goodie.

Grargar: It's not mentioned in the gamecard's description, but buying Darksiders Warmastered will also give you access to the original version as an alternative installer (called Legacy Edition).
Thank you, I didn't know that. They should really mention such stuff on the gamecard.

Agreed. This sort of info effects whether or not I am likely to buy the game.
I'm not encouraged by what I've read of the 'revamped' gameplay, but it's good that this is getting a release here, rather than a Steam-only release with Denuvo (*cough* Syberia 3 *cough*).
Fun fact - at least in the original it was never Samuel Gordon's father that "committed suicide", but his dear ole granddad...
So, does the plot actually deviate from the original? There are a bunch of plot holes in that one I wouldn't mind being "fixed" in one way or another...

So, might be an interesting release, but it's not been that long since I played BM, so it really depends on the "added value" here, so to speak (personally, I don't really count "looks better" as a significant improvement in and of itself).

Painted_Doll: You mean the trilogy ? THQ Nordic wouldn't do that .

ThomNG: Wohooooo Black Mirror coming to GOG :)

And it is no remake of the old Black Mirror so there is no reason to remove the old Black Mirror titles :)
Hi ThomNG :) Would it be possible for you to work with GOG to add the original classic version of Darksiders 2 as an extra to peoples accounts who own/will buy the remastered version , other developers have done this, a lot of people still prefer the Classic version and would buy the Remastered Version if they were able to get the classic version aswell :)

Please! :)

Any plans for Unwritten Tales 3???? The second is the best adventure of all time for me. I'm worried it didn't sell well enough to continue the series, please say this isn't so.

MarkoH01: To stay fair they did not remove the original of Darksiders 1 so maybe it is just a mistake that will be fixed ... sometime.

Oh, they removed that one as well? I am pretty sure it WAS at least in the bonus section. I will take a look in my library.
Edit: Just looked it up. It's still there and called "legacy edition" it's directly under the warmastered edition.

I second this. The original Darksiders is still available as well and that is a good thing because especially with DS2 there still are some problems for several people. That way people could at least play the original game. There is no reason to not have it here as well.

When you are talking about the library, Darksiders II is still there as well. You just can't buy it any longer.

Exactly my problem. Bought DS2 on steam and then got the deathinitive version on GOG but at the same time they removed the original version so I could not buy it anymore. Would be better if they would add it to the deathinitive edition like they did with DS1. Should not be a problem since everybody who bought the original version automatically got the deatinitive version added to their account as well afair.

Not really. People only got the Deathinitive Edition for free when they've bought Darksiders II + all DLCs.

But yes, the other way around it normally shouldn't be a problem.

Ah, yes - I forgot about the DLC part (people were angry about this) ... but still I think it should not be too much of a problem.

nightcraw1er.488: Why ambassador, with this pre-order re-make your really spoiling us. Will it also cost lots of money and have goodies dlc, pretty please.

cal74: Seriously, that's all you have to do of your day. Waiting for the next release post on GOG then find any way you can complaint about it. I know I should not feed the troll but you (and a few others) are just transforming a quite nice discussion place into a ranting place and you'll probably win because the people with whom you could get an interesting exchange, even with diverging point-of-views, will be probably get tired and give up at some point.
I assume its a way for crotchety older GOG forum users to vent - sometimes passive-aggressively - the changes they don't like happening with GOG. Maybe justified, maybe not. It does get frustrating.

If a blue calls out an angry post, there's usually a bit of backtracking.
