AMID EVIL is coming soon DRM-free.

A retro FPS for the ages! Once branded a HERETIC. Now YOU have been chosen as the champion! Reclaim the sacred weapons. Take back the ancient lands. If you can stand... AMID EVIL.

guppy44: DUSK and AMID EVIL! Yes!! Now we need WRATH and Ion Maiden to get released and all will be well for modern day "retros". :p
avatar
Swedrami: Don't forget about Prodeus.
Ah yes yes, and that one, too. I love when new games made in the likes of "retros" are done correctly and not just pixel blobs thrown together with the hopes that it looks enough like old, dated graphics and is therefore nostalgic. :)

Vythonaut: Please check out minimum system reqs: this game doesn't run on AMID GPUs.

Alright, I'll see myself out thank you.
Thank you for this. I love when I'm not the only one with old man humor. :)
Why did I read this as: AMD Evil
Hopefully the release is the same or at least close to steams, I'm still waiting for Dusk!
I expected nothing else. Good stuff. Great game with some very amazing level design and art style. Welcome home Champion.
Amid Evil
Yes I am
Amid Evil
I am man,
Yes I am.

Hey, why is the remaster of that on the Ride the Lightening remaster?
It's the wrong album.

Because remasters sell better if they offer something more than the original albums.
It's been a steady stream of great indies/AA games that have been making their way here that makes me proud to be such a gog user! Thanks gog!
Cool. Now if Dusk and Ion Maiden would finally be released, that'd be nice, too. =/

Ion Maiden devs are busy being sued by Iron Maiden. Dusk devs are having issues getting the multiplayer to work here.

OMG, can't they just make LAN/Direct Connect MP modes? This code will be the same for versions in any store, and players will be able to play with each other regardless of the store where they bought the game.
Or the Great Art of doing such multiplayer modes has sunk into oblivion and and the modern days gamedevs are simply unable to do this? This is especially strange from the developers of the game pretending to be "old-school styled".

Yeah, I've read about that daftness. Someone explain to me please how anyone could confuse a heavy metal band with a retro FPS game. Fucking lawyers. GRRRRR!
Nice, I knew it was just a matter of time.

Did they remaster the title too? :P

Just stay away from the Megadeth remasters (especially Rust in Peace; Dave did so many changes, that i can't even listen to it without cringing; the song Take No Prisoners hurts my ears the most), unless you're after the extra stuff, the very nice new booklets or maybe if you just didn't listen the originals yet.

I'm wondering if maybe they didn't remaster Kill em All, but did that song, so they stuck it on the Lightening remaster.

THIS IS SO CONFUSING! XD
Damn, I don't think I can run this smoothly.

I guess I'll stick with all the other dope FPSes releasing these days.
