Thanks for the reply. Everything works great. After picking up a proper controller for it (the one my friend had was third-party garbage) and some component cables I am $65 in (without counting future game purchases). Not the greatest bargain in the world, but I'm only using it in a bedroom on a 24" LCD TV, and for that purpose it fits.
