As promised, we have really great offers for you to celebrate the biggest gaming event in Europe - GamesCom in Cologne, Germany, for those of you who don't know what we're talking about. Not one, but two promos are running on GOG.com this week! First and foremost you can now grab the one and only The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings for only $29.99 (40% off the regular price)! The game that received IGN, GameSpot, GamePro and many others Editor’s Choice mentions and is believed by many to be on of the best PC titles of the year, is now available for the most affordable price you can find!

Additionally to this offer, we're having a 40% discount on games that enjoyed great success in Germany back in the good old days. You can grab Jagged Alliance 1 for $3.59 and Jagged Alliance 2 for just $5.99; Battle Isle Platinum for $5.99, Realms of Arkania 1 and 2 for $3.59, Realms of Arkania 3 for $3.59 and Master of Orion 1+2 for $3.59. This way everyone around the world can enjoy this gamer’s holiday even if you're not attending the show.

Both promotions end on Monday, August 22 at 3:59 a.m. (7:59 a.m. GMT), so don't wait and save those monies!
Btw, where are the amazing live blogs from the Gamescon featuring the future of Gog, Gaming, Women, and the Universe in general? At least some photos with some bottles of beer/wine/big church/big river/ whatever in the background would be nice! :)))

Or maybe just an announcement that GOG is great, on it's way, everything fine and always expanding... although that would just half as fun.

P.S.: Witcher 2 just downloading and will so for the next 3 hrs..................... I have plenty of time to post here......................................... still there ................................................ could watch photos...................................... now................................................ :)

Roman5: Already own all of the titles in the promo

So it looks like I'll be saving my money for another time =)

Though everyone who hasn't bought Wicher 2 yet should definitely do so - Fantastic game, especially with the 2.0 Patch incoming soon and Future free DLC
Same here. Should we call this a lucky or an unlucky day now?
I might get the Arkania games and Jagged Alliance, not sure I can afford to this week though.
Witcher 2 is awesome. Nuff said.

you can Pass on the Arkania games if you wish, however Jagged Alliance 2 is strongly reccomended

Proph2000: Realms of Arkania 1&2, 3 --> thanks GOG
Battle Isle --> Thanks too
Witcher 2 --> Wow!!!!
Jagged Alliance, Master of Orion --> Again????? I think those being in promo at least 4 times in the last 3 months!
Always nice to find another countrymate here. The problem with JA 2, JA 2 Wildfire and JA 2 Unfinished Business is that each of them has a different publisher deal with gog so the three rarely show up discounted in the same promo. So it appears that same game is being discounted everymonth. I been waiting for "vanilla" JA 2 to be discounted for quite some time.

I have JA2, it's great. I'm playing it right now and liking it so thinking about getting the first one.
Havnt played the witcher games. Dont really have any interest in that Beat'em up 3d rpg thing. But I know that the rest of the games in this promo are all fantastic.
Already have all the games in the promo, despite ironically not liking most of them, and I probably shouldn't spend anymore large sums of money, even on something as good as The Witcher 2. Of all of them, Master of Orion is probably the easy recommendation. I didn't especially enjoy any of the games in the Battle Isle pack (they all kind of feel like a clunkier, less dynamic version of Advance Wars, and Incubation feels like a middling X-COM clone with a lot of trial and error), and I've come to accept that Jagged Alliance isn't really for me. Of the Realms of Arkania games, the third seems eminently more playable, although it also seems like it was designed with importing parties from previous games in mind. Ah well. My money is safe today.
I've been waiting for "plain" JA2 to go on sale for a while now. It's mine. Aside from that, nothing really appeals.
Realms of Arkania looks good, I live and die for RPGs, but I fear I won't be able to cope with the difficulty... :(
Excellent! I just discovered that my old Realms of Arkania CDs are more or less dead. Perfect time to get the GOG versions!

Elle85: yes it should, but when my pc isn't online my game crash, not a big problem but it's a bit annoying.
hmmm ... that's with the patches? Unless Gamersgate has added something special in terms of DRM, and my understanding was that they didn't do that, then the patches should've removed any DRM. Besides which I thought it was SecureROM, not online login - or was that just retail DRM? You should contact CDProjekt Red support.

Nice one, GOG!

Though the sale on TW2 is more of a need than a plus, since every other retailer will be doing sales on it.

Too bad my PC can't run it. As for the others, JA2 and RoA 3 are somewhat on my wishlist, but only after I play the first games in their series (which I already have), so I'll pass.

But I will spend the weekend thinking about MoO 1+2, for sure.

EDIT: Nevermind that, as I've been kindly gifted by KOCollins =)
Thank you very much!

Incredible how torn I am about this promo. It's either food or gog games. Which would you pick?

Witcher... JA2 and Master of Orion...
