I have been trying to post a reply in a specific thread for several days now and all I get is "Please wait. Processing..." and it will do this indefinitely until I close the post attempt.

Any ideas?

Post length or a missing quote tag are the most likely suspects. Borked thread is also a possibility, but a slight one. You do have enough rep to be posting links, so that one is not an issue.

Double-check any tags you are using (for italics, quotes, etc.) to make sure they're all closed. That's what it usually is for me. Other than that, there's a (rather large) character limit for forum posts, so if you were trying to post a giant wall of text, that might have caused the hang-up. And including certain all-caps swear words also will not let the post go through (so I hear, anyway).

10,000 characters, to be precise.

Didn't know about the all-caps swear words, will have to experiment a bit about that. :P

Also, a giveaway thread i started before wouldn't appear, even if i pressed that damned button like 20 times; to the point i got forced to contact gog support... But somehow, halfway, it got solved by itself. Maybe forum bugs on its own sometimes, as well. Or bugs from some people's actions. Whatever the case, there is something fishy going on around here, lately. Smells of... Nah, never mind.

I get this all the time, Please Wait, Processing and it hangs there (no incorrect quote tags or broken formatting).

This is with Chrome; it seems to do it if I'm quoting the same person again or posting the same thing.

I'm sure there are plenty who may not want you to post. You can be abrasive. But Hell, don't let that stop you. Some people can't handle the truth. Others can't handle people talking to them in any way except rainbows and sunshine.

I did not have swear words (especially not capitalized) and I always watch out for the character limit in posts, sometimes breaking a post up into multiple posts just to be certain.

So my suspicion is that I somehow messed up the tags but it is weird this is happening just now and even in posts which contained NO tags at all (my most recent attempt to reply to a post directed at me in a thread).
