Thanks, any word on when we're getting a new version to work with? The last beta is still broken as far as I can tell and the most recent release doesn't work for me either.

Or am I misreading your post? I'd hope that we would have a working downloader before the older air version gets disconnected.

Please do, although I have figured out what my problem was. I uninstalled it another time and reinstalled. I'm not sure why that wasn't enough the previous time as I'm positive that I had tried that before.

But, either way it's probably something that the people having trouble would like to know.

extras missing/deleted on some games

I just purchased a game from GOG.com, and installed the latest downloader there is, and I am still getting. Unable to fetch data??
I am starting to feel like I made a mistake buying anything from GOG to be honest, and I want my money refunded if you can't even install games that you paid for!!

If you swith "Gog downloader" off you can still download them from the page directly. Also if you read the previous posts in this thread (especially the ones in blue color) you will see there is some change going on and you 're just unlucky to be caught in the middle. Everything should be fine by Friday!

GOG is currently in the process of unbundling some of the games to separate installers, which may cause hiccups. Send a support ticket about what games have this problem, so it will be fixed, and in the mean time change downloader mode to off and grab the game through your browser.
