yes... I change my statement... I am guessing the bundle will be live sometimes next week.

There are some nice nominees also this year though, my favourite so far is Lune I think.
I give my vote to a developer who promises not to use Unity 3D or any other demanding engine and no unnecessary Shader effects for their simple 2D indie game, so that people can actually judge the system requirements just by looking at the screenshots. ;)

Anyway, i really like the new presentation of the nominees, short and informative, and almost all with compulsory gameplay videos and/or demos.

Agreed on Unity... really wanted to play a demo from a cool dev the other day but it's just over the top.

Thanks for the update!

Oh good, glad I'm not the only one who finds Unity to be a ridiculously inefficient engine. Games that looks like they should run fine (compared to games that I know run fine) can run like treacle.

One of the nominees is a Driftmoon expansion :)
Bundle should launch soon, probably today. The final IDG nominee was announced half an hour ago.

And probably new Indie Gala. ;)
Bundle is live
Some of the games in he base tier look interesting (though I don't see any must-haves), while most of the BTA games have been in other bundles already, and the unlockables are insignificant. Business as usual for BIAB. ;) Nice to see that again every game is available DRM-free though.

I'll probably end up buying the base tier, but I'll wait a bit. They might reduce the minimum price if the bundle doesn't gain traction, and with the current selection I'm not sure it will.

Deluxe Necrotic Drift, huh? Interesting...
I'm mildly disappointed with this bundle, was expecting something better. :/
Hm, I've got none of these games. Any opinions on them? I think I've heard bad things about Dinner Date and good things about Phantasmaburbia (although my mind could be playing tricks on me), but that's about it. I skipped the IR bundle with Cognition 1, but seeing that Cognition 2 is in the current IR, maybe I could remedy that now and get both this and the IR now?

I'm pretty undecided though, seeing that I already have a ton of interesting games and while these might be nice, they probably wouldn't end up on my priority list. I'm also pretty sure that Cognition will not run that smoothly on my current rig, and while I like P&C adventures I'm not a big fan of your average crime thrillers about psychokillers, as told from the perspective of teh investigators. Maybe I'd be better off spending $6 on Undying than $7 on a bunch of games to add to my backlog without much chance that I will actually play them for long ...
As cheaparsed as it sounds, I'm waiting for the average to fall. >.>

Me too. I don't want to pay that much to own Cognition Episode 1 for a third time =/
