It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Miaghstir: That's what I'm doing at the moment, going through everything that's been said since the last edit and compiling the list.
Let me help a little:

Issues with the reviews' voting system (Dec11) => fixed, can't reproduce it any more.

Favicon not displaying on the subforums (Firefox 3.6.23) (Nov11) => fixed on Firefox 3.6.28, so the same probably happens with 3.6.23

When viewing owned games in 'LIST' mode there's no way to decrease the # of stars of an already assigned rating (Jun11) => outdated as there aren't any stars now in list mode (the same applies to library mode)

Some games are affected by a bug that causes them to jump one slot forward on the shelf (May11) => I think this is also outdated with the new library, but it needs further testing to say for sure.
There, I think I'm done for now.

Thanks. And yeah, I suppose not allowing whitespace at all is one way to solve the issue with jumping games.

Miaghstir: Could you post a screenshot of how it looks? (press power and home at the same time, and a screenshot will be saved to your photo library, you'll probably be notified with a "camera click").
Actually it looks the problem is with my browser. I was using Dolphin, but both Safari and Atomic browser worked fine with GOG. I've attached screenshots of GOG on both Dolphin and Atomic browsers.
Attachments:
dolphin.jpg (179 Kb)
atomic1.jpg (157 Kb)

Miaghstir: It should be "Votes cast", not "casted"
(thanks Navagon)
It is 'Votes cast" now.

icepowdah: "hide completed" is not working for me in the whishlist section. using chrome as a browser
avatar
Miaghstir: You sure? It's buggy and doesn't work after you've changed the sorting, should work before (just click "Load more wishes..." a few times until you see some that's been completed, and try).
like you said ... still buggy nevertheless. Thanks.

Miaghstir: They're still in the list, too. I remove ones that get reported as fixed.

adambiser: Sorry, I should have also mentioned that you still have them in the list. But that's all I've heard about post-edit wise. Anyway, hopefully Tormentfan will provide more information.
That was the one I was talking about.. the one that ignores previous edits within a certain period of time. I didn't read the list.

I originally thought that it was just the way the forum worked, but when I mentioned it in a post to someone they said that it was a bug. Can't remember who I was talking to.

The Home and End keys don't work in the game search field.
Pressing Short+Ctrl+Arrow stops the cursor from flashing. Pressing backspace then deletes the word before the cursor even though there's no indication that any letters are selected...

Generally, it just behaves strangely when you try to use some of the more "specialized" (for lack of a better word) navigation keys and key combinations.

Firefox 11, Win 7x64

EDIT:
Also, this has fallen off the bug list, but I don't think it has been fixed yet.

When you search for a title in the search box and click on one of the titles of the dropdown, it closes the dropdown. It is in Chrome 17-18. And In IE9, if I click in the search box, it loses his focus after a second.

Oh dammit. That's what happens when I jump between operating systems, don't have the document on a place easily accessible to both, and don't remember where the latest version is. It'll be back in the next update.

Looks like you needs some NAS storage or some storage in "Cyberspace"....
;-)

I don't trust cyberspace, and I'm waiting for HDD prices to go down (I'll likely have to wait a year or so). I do have a plan for networked storage.

Oh ! , so you are just like me - and in same situation....

But FYI - you could , for less sensitive content , install TrueCrypt and encrypt your files with a strong password before pumping them up into "Cyberspace".....

Personally I am going to use at least two different NAS drives , one for NON-sensitive common locally shared content (between my own computers) , and a strongly encrypted for all "personal content" to locally share between my own computers on my own network..
Finally when all NAS are in place (with Backup RAID config) then I will move most stuff to the NAS drives and totally (boot) encrypt this PC with TrueCrypt......

It's not that the content is sensitive, but I just don't like relying on third-parties that much. Which is why I run my own mailserver rather than using Microsoft's, Google's, or Yahoo's services for my primary account (or my ISP's e-mail service for that matter).

I'm thinking FreeBSD with ZFS (5-disk RAID-Z plus a hot spare), then NFS for sharing (and probably SFTP, WebDAV, SMB and AFP for different uses; the latter two because I have legacy machines that can't handle the others).

Perhaps you could get a small program that will auto sync between your webspace and your different computers ? (So that you will have it both ways - both local cop(y)(ies) and a copy in space to share...)
I do have a number of domains + a webhotel for one of them , I sometimes uses the site to transport information from one PC to another when I do not want to bother with an USB stick ;-)

Coincidetally they have just launced free "cloud storage" (with cheap webhotel) though I haven't used the cloud myself yet.... :
http://www.one.com

P.S.
Just read about their "Cloud Drive" and it actually offers "Synchronization" (with "version control") also......

FiatLux: ...
Perhaps. Except, I have (currently) about 2TB of data that I want easily accessible regardless of which of my machines I'm sitting at (media centre, tower, laptop booted to Linux or Windows, netbook...), whether I'm travelling or at home (currently I have to think about what data I might need while gone, and often miss some stuff anyway because I can't foresee what computer problems people will ask me to fix, or what games, movies and music I might want to play). Renting 2TB or more from a cloud storage provider isn't on my map, nor is copying that initial amount of data over any connection save at least a 1Gbit/s LAN.

EDIT: Then again, this discussion really has no place in this thread.
