Say hello to an old friend.. or maybe two :P

The remade version of Broken Sword: The Smoking Mirror is now available on GOG.com for $5.99 together with the original! And if you already bought The Smoking Mirror on GOG.com, you can re-download the remastered version of the game!

Follow in the footsteps of George Stobbart as he rescues Nicole from the kidnapping and unravel the mystery behind the world conspiracy! This re-release contains a lot of enhancements like three different hi-res display modes, high quality in-game music, new context-sensitive hint system, a diary, new UI and talking heads with full facial animation and voice-overs.

To celebrate this re-release GOG.com is running a 3-day promo for the whole Broken Sword saga! The promotion includes the following titles:

Broken Sword 1: Director's Cut + The Original Game,
Broken Sword 2: The Smoking Mirror - Remastered,
Broken Sword 3: The Sleeping Dragon.

The Promo gives you up to 50% off when purchasing the whole pack or completing the collection with the missing games. When buying individual titles you'll get a 30% off rebate. The Broken Sword Promo is running until 5:59 a.m. EDT on 3rd June.
Great news! It's always good to see that you keep improving existing releases instead of simply forgetting about them. Nice promo too, I'm going to buy the games now.
Thank you, thank you, thank you... GOG! :)
Thank you GOG, it's time to replay broken sword 2 again :>.

If it's anything like the last conference GOG like to have a very big title to drop right there. In the last one it was Baldur's Gate so naturally everyone went nuts. Hopefully they are going to drop something equally big this time like... System Shock or X-Wing.
This is really a great move. Got the original one, so I can take a look on the remastered version. The first remastered version is okay for the new puzzles and to play Nico, but it feels too different and can't catch the original one. So, for the second one I will see how different it is. So, big thanks to Gog and Revolution, I really appreciate it.
Nice, you own all games from this promo.
Have fun and don't forget to check out our next offer.
I love GOG so much...
Please, consider the idea opening a "Good Games" store. You guys would get almost all of my PC business.
This is really good of GOG, I already have BS2 here so I'm very pleased to hear that I get the remaster for free.
I really wish EVERY gaming company could be as amazing as Gog. Now I get to play the great game again for FREE with remastered features.

I really can't think of a better site to spend my money on!!!!
Fantastic news!

I already bought the entire saga some time ago, and I can get the remastered version for free. Thanks, GoG!

WBGhiro: it's nice to have the most complete version of these games, but i still wonder how they (Revolution?)managed to make the remastered editions look worse than the originals.
at least the original one is included as a bonus :-)

Blurry scaled stuff mixed with newer high res stuff makes for an ugly game. :P
