At Amazon.com I can get a pile of used books for 20-30 USD so I don't really wax hopeful that this will be better, still, given the rave reviews you all are giving, I'll check them out. Thanks.

Wishbone: The very first book I looked for, they didn't have. They did however link to a site where I could get it for £4.67... plus £15.70 for shipping.

overread: Sounds like a fair few of my 2nd hand book searches - the USA is where one wants to be for a good second hand market. UK side you gotta be fast to nab things.

that said I tend to get good luck with Abe Books
http://www.abebooks.co.uk/
That WAS the site they linked to ;-p
REAL books will go away like the newspaper industry in a decade or two. Digital books are the future and NO shipping charges ever :)

I never buy books anyway though. I get all my books online from my library.
I'd recommend BookDep, ordered few books in the past, took them about 10 days to arrive, but I wasn't in the hurry :)
Been ordering from them for the last 3 years.
Cheap. Free shipping is awesome and delivery is great.
bookdepository.com maybe cheaper at times than bookdepository.co.uk :)
hey, thx. We no longer have publisher for Warhammer books in Poland - it seems I found a solution to this problem.
I might check this out, thanks!

I am saying no such thing. I am merely saying that Book Depository didn't have it, but linked to a search of the same book on Abe Books, suggesting I try there instead. See for yourself.

Ahh gotcha! :)
Abe books offer both new and secondhand books.Shipping isnt free.

Both bookdepository.co.uk and .com have a 10% off worldwide at the moment using APMA12 code on checkout.
The Witcher 2 guide there, is only 16€, as opposed to 20€ elsewhere.

Remember to try also un bookdepository.com. Believe it or not, the prices are not the same and they also offer free shipping worldwide.
I buy from them occasionly, but Amazon is my first choice. The Book Depository is great as long asn everything works fine, but if they don't...

I've had a couple of orders messed up. They sent me the wrong book, and when I tried to contact them, it took them forever to get back to me and even then it became a major pain trying to deal with their clueless customer service. The last incident was a year ago.
