cogadh: No, this is a case mod... okay, so its more like a full PC mod, not just the case, but you get the point.

Want. Now. o.o

I'll have that as a secondary one in the kitchen, so I can play while I whip up something to appease my appetite.

Wishbone: While I enjoy great casemods as much as the next geek, this isn't a great casemod. If they'd made the case out of mahogany, and made it look antique, I'd be impressed, but this gilded cube is just bling for bling's own sake. It's got no style.

Its Chav Bling

Plus, the hardware is more important than the container, any day of the week.

I'd thought about doing that, myself a la my TV. I have access to a wood shop and suffice it to say, i's really difficult. I gave up at the planning stage.
I got 2/3 of the way through a case made of Lego, had great pivot opening drive bay for the DVD drive, mounting for the power & drive LEDs, nice rail mounting for the hard drive and vents for the CPU exhaust but then I ran out of lego and had to abandon the project

Ha! Nice.ou ever see the cases in PC Magaziine? They had a crazy Bender one a while ago. Priceless. This is the one, even if it's not a great shot.

The stained glass one was pretty amazing too. There's a lego one a few after that, too.

eew, don't want to insert a DVD into that
Ehhh, bling. I'll pass, even if I could afford it.
I have always been a fan of the victorian-era / steampunk designs though,
I love cool case mods, but this is just overpriced shit for posers. P.T. Barnum would be proud.

No worries. You don't have to do it. It's self-sufficient.
