Wishbone: While I enjoy great casemods as much as the next geek, this isn't a great casemod. If they'd made the case out of mahogany, and made it look antique, I'd be impressed, but this gilded cube is just bling for bling's own sake. It's got no style.

Plus, the hardware is more important than the container, any day of the week.
I'd thought about doing that, myself a la my TV. I have access to a wood shop and suffice it to say, i's really difficult. I gave up at the planning stage.
I got 2/3 of the way through a case made of Lego, had great pivot opening drive bay for the DVD drive, mounting for the power & drive LEDs, nice rail mounting for the hard drive and vents for the CPU exhaust but then I ran out of lego and had to abandon the project
