Bitcoin is overhyped and Ball****!!!!!!!
But it did make the ma**a and some people super rich..............
I believe the creator is somewhere in Eastern Asia, but that was over two years ago............
So Bitcoin hasnt died yet?.
Not completely. Its like a f**king virus!
Well, it's pretty obvious that there is a subset of users here who are not only somewhat narrow minded, but also strongly opinionated on things they don't have the time or will to research.

I believe that accepting payment via the likes of bitpay is a very trivial matter programming wise, and legally I think most countries don't care what payment processor is used as long as you report your actual earnings (you know, the same $$ price listed on the site and accepted via the processor).

timppu: Does Bitcoin have DRM?
lol. technically, in a way, bitcoins IS DRM. without DRM, everyone would be flithy richy in bitcoins. but its "DRM" has proven to be very hackable, at least with a powerful CPU.

Indeed.
Steam is going to accept Bitcoin soon:

Kinda sad to see GOG to fall behind the curve, but glad I will be able to buy games on Steam now. There are just a few games which are not available on Steam, but are available on GOG (HOMM3 for example), so it would still be nice if GOG accepted it too. Maybe Steam accepting Bitcoin will convince GOG to finally do it?

So if I told you that Bitcoin wasn't considered legal tender in Poland, what would your reaction be?

And if I told you that bitcoin was a reverse funnel turned upside down...?

Oh, and bitcoin is a legal minefield.

EDIT: Wait forget it, I just replied to a five year old comment due to a necro. Fuck this. Sorry.

CD Projekt is headquartered in Warsaw.

None? What does this have to do with Poland or legal tender?

1. Steam receives U.S. Dollars, they just use the Bitcoin protocol to receive them. GOG could do the same.

2. GOG is located in Cyprus: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GOG.com

In any case, according to your own link, Bitcoin is not regulated (i.e. legal) in both Cyprus and Poland:

Cyprus: The use of bitcoins is not regulated in Cyprus.

Poland: The use of the bitcoin in Poland is not regulated by a legal act at present.

Sorry, I have no idea what that means.

1. How is it a "legal minefield"? Information on the link shows that Bitcoin is not regulated (i.e. legal) in most countries.

2. The list concerns legality of the Bitcoin currency, not the Bitcoin protocol (which Steam uses). Two different things.
