I'm cautiously optimistic. This could be a fantastic move for GOG or it could be opening a can of worms that causes GOG to fundamentally change their business structure and corporate attitudes.

Here's hoping though.

Repaired PM layout is huge change for me. I was so used to having it broken that it looks weird now. :-)

As for myself, I´m glad to see newer releases here. Especially Legend of Grimrock. Definitely buying :P

New layout looks neat, it will take me some time, though, to get used to it.

I don't see any blue text as the first post. Is this normal?

I had text of PM's under contact list, not next to it so and it was descending instead of ascending so I had to scroll deep down to read new message.
I am trying to doublepost. And it still edits posts.

It was descending for me too (I assumed it was deliberate) but mine was next to the contact list at least.
The double post time limit is probably the same, but it deserves testing. If it's gone up to 20 minutes I'll kill someone.

Have to agree. So far nothing has changed for the better for me. The game shelf is a mess now, and the forum edit bug thingie is still there, which would probably be my main complaint xD That and the quoting messup with too many quotes.

And now this top bar takes part of my screenpage where ever I go.

Then again, I'm sure there'll be improvements somewhere I'll touch upon eventually. But as someone who 9 times out of 10 is just using the forums, I don't see it yet. (also... my cancel and post message have no button... just text)

The cancel / post message buttons being missing is probably a browser thing, as I can see them fine on Firefox 10. There's also a "hide the top bar damnit" entry on the wishlist, which you should go upvote. The frontpage definitely looks better IMO, but I rarely actually visit the frontpage, most of my time is spent on the forums... which seem to have gotten a (minor) downgrade.

Where is the news page displaying the text of the news? Do I have to go to the community forum each time I want to know if there are some news?

edith: Ah, it's these images on the right side....

Yeah I guess I should try and refresh my browser or something, I'm using Firefox as well. And like you I also rarely visit the frontpage, although the pictured Headlines thing is a nice touch to be fair. Just... not very useful to me overall.
