Round 6: The aliens were shot down in their prime!.
In the sixth round of the Battle Of The Games, fans of UFO series were outnumbered by heavily-armed mercenaries, cornered, and finally forced to retreat with a 40% discount. Those who voted for Jagged Alliance 2 can be proud--the game is now only $3.99--while UFO: Afterlight can be purchased for $5.99 for the next 24 hours.

Round 7: Sacred: Gold vs Divine Divinity
Nothing less than two outstanding action RPGs enter the ring today, prepared to hack and slash each other to pieces. There’s really no way to decide which of these 3rd person RPGs is better other than voting.
If you don't know which game to vote for--check the video from Larian Studios, creators of Divine Divinity

Teukku: I would just love to see Sanitarium in one of these Battles...
Ditto. I will get Sanitarium at some point I'm sure, but I have such a big backlog that only a sale would make me buy it in a forseeable future.
Have both. And I liked Sacred better. Also, Divine Divinity has been utterly ruined by how the story is continued in it's successors.
Like many here I too have both. I also liked DD much, much better than Sacred. That's not to say that Sacred isn't good, on the contrary I liked it quite alot and I'm voting for it because of two reasons:

1. The math. If Sacred is cheaper then people who haven't experienced these games can possible enjoy them both.

2. Sacred is losing in the votes. There is a small part of me that has to support the underdog.

Thanks for that, even if it might just be a drop in the bucket, but every drop counts! :)

Voting for Divine Divinity without the intention of buying it is a disservice both to the community members also interested in checking out the expensive Sacred and the poor guys from Larian who already chose to sell their game at the lower price point and will now get an even smaller share. Did noone watch the video? ;)
Voted for Sacred... yup, looks like there's no way it's going to win :)
As a side note: Someone on the GameBanshee boards proposed that one of the upcoming Divinity titles be called Divinely Divine Divinity instead of the current projected names. I strongly back this idea.

Already own both Sacred Gold and Divine Divinity, but voted for Sacred Gold. Its price has to go down to make up for the boredom I got from it :-P

* my very first game I got from GOG and I still have not finished it yet.
I think both Divine Divinity and Sacred are great games. I've played both several times and anyone who likes action rpgs can't go wrong with either. If I didn't own them I would buy both. I have to admit that the "Battle of the Games" is a great idea. The person who thought of it should get a raise.:-)

GOG has some very creative marketing people on their team. This is true.

I add my voice to yours in this. I have been wanting to pick it up for a while, but there always seems to be something else I want more ... and now I have too many games in my "to play" list. That said, I haven't shaken that desire to play Sanitarium, so I would love to see it here and give me the excuse to take the plunge.

Sanitarium would be a good one. I agree with that.
I own Divine Divinity and as fate would have it, Sacred Gold is on my wishlist!

I knew which to vote for right away! :-)

I was 11 when the game came out here and as I really didn't understand english that well the game ended up being really hard for me. Never got past the second level. Not too long ago I remembered Sanitarium and wanted to play it again but couldn't find my old copy. I did find my old "Space Hulk: Vengeance of the Blood Angels" --- oh, that would be so cool if GOG.com could get that game!
Difficult one this both are great games but i would go for sacred.

The only problem is the list was probably fixed a while back so none of this talk will influence what makes it into the promo. But we can always hope!

Certainly. I assume GOG.com can't just put games on sale when ever they feel like it. Like you said, we still have hope as there are still 20 more games to come :)
