Round 6: The aliens were shot down in their prime!.
In the sixth round of the Battle Of The Games, fans of UFO series were outnumbered by heavily-armed mercenaries, cornered, and finally forced to retreat with a 40% discount. Those who voted for Jagged Alliance 2 can be proud--the game is now only $3.99--while UFO: Afterlight can be purchased for $5.99 for the next 24 hours.

Round 7: Sacred: Gold vs Divine Divinity
Nothing less than two outstanding action RPGs enter the ring today, prepared to hack and slash each other to pieces. There’s really no way to decide which of these 3rd person RPGs is better other than voting.
If you don't know which game to vote for--check the video from Larian Studios, creators of Divine Divinity

AFnord: Anyone willing to trade me a copy of Sacred for King's Bounty: The Legend, King's Bounty: Armored Princess and King Arthur: The Roleplaying Wargame?
Wow, that's quite a generous offer!

Two of the games are from the 1C bundle, so their trade-value is pretty low. And as I already have boxed copies of the two King's Bounty games, I really don't need the Gamer's Gate versions.
So, interested? ;) (King's Bounty is an excellent game series, and you will easily get 100h of fun out of those two titles (if you just do a single playthrough) and King Arthur the Roleplaying wargame is a really interesting game, and one that I really enjoyed, even though it is a bit rough around the edges)

I know King's Bounty, I got it as the bundled game from a PC game 'zine, but I've never really played it further than the tutorials.
Are they all for GamersGate? I don't have an account there, but my brother does, and I use that occasionally to get a game or two, so I could still use them there.

King's Bounty is on Gamer's Gate while King Arthur is a Steam game.

We already have the Steam version of King Arthur, so you can keep that (maybe for a future trade). but I'll take the two KB games for Sacred then. Deal?

Sure thing. Give me your mail address (through pm) and I'll send it to you, through the Gamer's Gate gift system (it does not have to be the mail address linked to the GG account)

Stooner: but, Sacred come with its expansions, no?
maybe this could justify...
I certainly thought it was a very good deal for six bucks. That is a lot of hours of fun gameplay for the money. It was on my wishlist but now it is in my collection! :-)

Not the best picture but I'm glad I got them. Even put my original manuals with the GOG versions.

Been having some install trouble with my original copies.

Hell, I bought it for 10 bucks, and those were some of the best-spent money I've thrown at GOG over the years.
Just a (stupidly bumping) word to thank all those who have voted for Divinity. I wouldn't have bought it, without you, I wouldn't have even cared to ever try it. This game is very, very good. I'm furious for having overlooked it till now.

So, thanks, GoGers. And thanks to GoG for these vote-driven promos, it's a system that allows players to bring games to other players' attention much more than random price drops.
