Round 16: Spacechem vs The Incredible Machine
Spacechem is a fantastic puzzle game--rated five stars by our community. This is a bit surprising since the game deals with chemistry and nuclear reactions, a subject which is not generally considered great game material. However, Spacechem is surprising, intriguing, and incredibly challenging, especially since the 63 Corvi DLC (with new levels) is included for free.
The Incredible Machine Mage Pack, a legendary title among puzzle lovers, includes Even More Incredible Machine, The Incredible Machine 3 (contains all levels from The Incredible Machine 2), Contraptions and Even More Contraptions. Build absolutely crazy constructions with fishbowls, bike-riding monkeys, cannonballs, pipes, toasters, cats, and anvils. If you ever wanted to launch a rocket with an alligator and some fried eggs, vote now for The Incredible Machine.

F4LL0UT: Normally I'm the guy saying this kind of stuff, but I must disagree on these two games (although I hated BioShock when I tried it for the first time). Halo and Gears of War on the other hand - now THAT's overrated garbage.
I'd like to have Bioshock on gog.com, my retail copy has DRM on it.

Mass Effect AFAIK in Poland was released without DRM, but only first part.

And I don't agree about Halo - it was the first, and the only FPS I have enjoyed and finished. And I really didn't expect that, when I installed it.

Correct, but unfortunately the Polish release also wasn't compatible with the DLC until someone from the community created special versions. Way to go, Cenega! -.-

And as for Halo... I only beat the first one on PC and played the second and third one a little bit on a friend's consoles. And my impression: they are decent games at best and definitely don't deserve the attention they get. Same goes for GoW imho.

Yeah, I'm the kind of guy who easily dislikes franchises that get too successful. :P

Well I find it rather unlikely for Mass Effect to be released on GOG anytime soon. Still, I love that game. IMHO the first part is the best game BioWare has released since the Baldur's Gate series.

F4LL0UT: snip
Mass Effect was released by CDProjekt.

And they provided patch for Pinnacle Station - and this is the only version that let you play that DLC without online activation (?) I think.
Zzzzzzzzzzzz...

F4LL0UT: I must say - this is the first "battle" where I absolutely don't know which game to pick. I used to play The Even More Incredible Machine a whole lot and loved it. Wouldn't mind finally getting the pack. On the other hand: Spacechem is suppsoed to be one of the best games of 2011. Tough one.
Spacechem is definitely worth it. It is very challenging and satisfying. Best puzzle I have played in a long time.

Oh, right. It was published by CDP (astonishing as most flawed Polish releases come from Cenega :P). Anyhow, before they had taken care of things I had already found an unofficial version of the DLC for the Polish retail release of ME (after paying for the useless DLC from the EA Store, though). Since the compatibility issues of ME and later Fallout 3 (where the Polish release completely lacked GFWL support despite describing these features in the manual) I'm trying to get all games digitally. :P

Worth mentioning though that whoever published Fallout 3 in Poland: after writing their support an evil email I received a coupon code worth 100zl. Hadn't expected that.

CoolieND: Mage Pack it is!
I'm so glad that I'm not the only one to notice that.

Strijkbout: Please vote Spacechem.
Why? I already own it and want to get TIM ;-P
After reading the comments, I kinda feel like wanting space chem. I absolutely want TIM, so I voted for it, but if chemistry wins I'm getting both.
Hmm... Can't say either of these jump out at me. But I just found a copy of Robopon for the Gameboy, so I'm happy. :D

SpaceChem is really a programming game. Chemistry is just the overall theme.
