Round 12: The Whispered World vs Trine
The Whispered World is a visually stunning point-and-click adventure game with hand-painted backgrounds and traditional hand-drawn frame-by-frame animation. Sadwick, a 12-year old introspective clown, needs to go on a journey to stop the approaching end of the world. The Whispered World is a magical combination of a fairy tale, adventure game, and heart-warming story great for both kids and adults. If you enjoy funny with a dose of melancholy, vote for The Whispered World.
Trine is a physics-based action platformer with stunning visuals and great soundtrack. The game won GameSpot's E3 Editors' Choice Award for being a flawless example of how a modern platform game should work--a simple idea (three characters with unique abilities), something special (physics based puzzles and challenges), and brilliant execution (just look at the game!). Trine is not an epic journey but an incredibly entertaining action game for everyone.

RoseLegion: On. The. Nose.

F4LL0UT: Lol. Had to check what "on the nose" means - thought you wanna punch me in the face for saying something stupid. :D

Titanium: Ha! So I voted for Two worlds instead of TW.

F4LL0UT: So you voted for TW instead of TW. Very confusing that to major Polish RPG franchises share the same abbreviation. I was once looking for information about The Witcher on some forum and it took me a while to notice that the guys were talking about Two Worlds.
I'm glad the internet cleared that up. Using too many English colloquialisms is an unfortunate side effect of being stuck stateside for too many years in a row :P

Speaking of language gaps, I really wish that the rest of The Witcher novels would be translated into English (as I am sadly monolingual :( )

I was wondering how far they actually got with the translations. Considering the franchise's popularity one would expect that someone has gone through the trouble of translating the whole thing - although I must admit that it's gotta be a hell of a job considerng Sapkowski's incredible use of the Polish language.

Double edged sword of having such a high quality of writing :)
I wish I were just able to become a linguistic savant, but while I'm working on that it would still be nice to have something high quality to read to pass the time ;)

StingingVelvet: Whispered World is slightly tempting but I know I would never really play it.
Didn't stop me. :P
Word of worning to people considering TWW - try the demo first. It saved me $5 when the game was on sale on Steam, since it showed me how much that game hates my system.
