IronArcturus: I thought GOG's version of The Bard's Tale was basically Bard's Tale "4?" So wouldn't the next version be Bard's Tale 5?
The 2004 Action-RPG "The Bard's Tale" doesn't have anything to do with the original BT trilogy of the 80's beyond the name. Different universe.

I wanted to like the 2004 game. Great voices, humorous dialogue, and sing-alongs! Horrible controls, view, and interface though.

Spent countless hours in college playing The Thief of Fate. Now that's a good old game.

Actually I would like it more if it included a limited automap BUT that it required you to finalize it.

As long as they have a decent UI I'm interested. The old Bard's Tales were isometric of some kind, right? As long as it's not first person I'm ok with it.

Their available here on GOG, you play them inside the program for the 2004 BT.
