Baldur's Gate Enhanced edition just surfaced on Steam. (€18,99 ... ridiculous)

More importantly though, so have the gamehubs for the Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, Icewind Dale 1&2, Planescape Torment and Temple of Elemental Evil, which appear to be the Anthology collection from Gamersgate.

Maybe the Anthology edition will finally come to GOG as well? I hope GOG's on top of the makers of BG:EE for that edition on GOG at least now that it seems to have been released to other platforms.

Nice find. Good to see this on a more established platform. I held back on buying this because of the reports of bugs and because I was not in the mood for another client. >_> Of course, having it here would be even better for me.

It is. Sort of. We don't know if GOG are getting it yet.

Incidentally, the Steam CDR shows a whole bunch of D&D games and, interestingly, a subscription called "Duke Nukem 3D and Shadow Warrior.

Feargus Urquhart said in a recent interview that Hasbro's currently figuring out what to do with it, i.e. how and where it's gonna be re-released. Wondering what's taking so long. After all, it has been back up on GG for some time now. So what's the holdup with Steam and, more importantly, GOG?

They both appear to be published by Wizards of the Coast now on GG (NWN Complete collection) so it would be kind of strange if NWN2 wouldn't surface again either.

Man, I hope BGEE doesn't come here. If it does, unsuspecting customers may be tricked into buying it instead of the original, which would be a tragedy for everyone.

I smell desperation if he indeed say that. Trying to pimp Beamdog as a service ;). Hope GOG don't touch EE of BG . The price is too farking high for what you get as a PC end user :/. And the bugginess of it all... Im wondering what licensing issues came up to not allow BG etc on sale over Xmas, and now NWN2 pulled from stores?. Did licenses expire or someone bought in?
