Antimateria: Shin migami tensei.. In fact I do have ps2 in my closet I just do not have a tv to play anything. I play jrpgees on pc well final fantasies, i'm waiting lightning returns but I've played XIII and xiii-2 and I kinda liked both. Especially 13-2

type zero seems good tough also.

edit: but persona games.. especially persona five.. It would be only game to think that why would somebody buy a new console.

It's best thing to ever save. If you don't know that taranis music which just continues I will link it to you if I find it. i've played tower jrpgs before (like azure dreams) but personas are freaking greatest thing ever. I should buy a console because of that.

Oh, I do mock them. I mock them plenty. But it's a friendly kind of mocking, from someone who spent enough time rolling d20s and ranting about Dune to appreciate both having such hobbies, and teasing others as long is it's all in good fun.

I wonder if it's an option. In the games I've seen and played, it has the voice options for other languages; Perhaps space on the disc is an issue and ends up getting cut at that point?

Games in question that I'm thinking of include Odin Sphere, and Ar Tonelico (PS2 games), so if this is a more recent thing of them dropping Japanese voices then maybe my post is irrelevant.

Ok. As long as you don't say that JRPG fans are pedos or basement dwealing weaboos who deserve to die a fiery death,then I'm ok.
Really,if I had a dollar everytime someone called me a pedo weaboo for liking JRPGs,I'd have enough to buy Micro$oft.

Aye, Persona for example only gives the option for English voices.

I must admit that Hoshigami and Tactics Ogre are two of my all time favourite games.

Atlus already has one game on GOG so there's hope for more, although their greatest releases have not been on PC.

Odin sphere was terrible.

The new version has a shot at being not terrible, though.

Ditto. Although honestly it has quite the time investment in it, but thankfully a built in NG+ where you can just resume playing the adventures from the start again while keeping all the equipment, although i'm not sure if the tutorials are as useful...

The only problem i recall in the game, was the slowdown when either there was a lot on the screen in general (usually you got 40+ fragments floating around) or you were in the underworld with all the murkey fog that slowed the game to a crawl...
