Lol. Hey, I'll be honest, I've busted out my Atari on a number of occasions in recent years. I still enjoy some of those games. And, games like Kaboom and Warlords can still be fun to play with friends. Kaboom can be pretty comical.

If you have few spare bucks I highly recommend the Activision Anthology Remix Edition ($8 on Amazon last time I checked). It's not going to replace your love for modern day gaming but for a just a few dollars it is worth the thrill (or is that snooze) ride down memory lane. It has the 1st 2 Pitfalls, 1st 2 River Raids, Keystone Cops, Boxing, Skiing, Enduro plus a few dozen more along with a nice 80's soundtrack lead by the Alan Parsons Project and some other other 80's icons.
On the other hand, having their assets being put up for sale might not be so great. I'm not sure how I'd feel having the Master of Orion series and Total Annihilation picked up by, say, EA. Unless Atari SA/Infogrames holds the IP rights, in which case, here's hoping they don't go under and have to sell IPs wholesale like THQ.
