well i was going to have a go and post tonight, but i was annoyed plenty by a member, so my artist streak wen out the window. Will have a play at the weekend hopefully :)

So, finished a comission today ( a week late but the client was okay with that and loved the finished thing).

NOW I have to do a self portrait (for my own reason mainly, but also to go on their "about us section on their website).

Can any of you suggest any good online (free) guides / tutorials for such, and also any excercises for breaking creative block (hit a brick wall right after that piece!).

Edit: been a long time since i did a proper self portrait: hence I'm asking - need a refresher!

I'm really sorry for putting this here, but I've been looking at it for hours and it makes complete sense in my head and I quite like it, but I need someone else's opinion.

I think I should probably have made her a little less thick, but I hadn't made any backups and I'd hate to start all over again with her.

I feel like I'm doing a Hail Mary pass whenever I try to place a shape somewhere with MS Paint.

mind you, i dont have the time to make an entry anyways - a shame as I could have done something with a technique ive recently been using!
