More like BEST GAME EVER :P ...!!!

You know about the rumored 3rd Game in the serie ?
It's one of those urban legends that make me wish it was true U_u'

As an aside, did they just cram WOW's profession system into D3? This almost makes D3 sound like WOW version 1.5 (oh come on, like you don't actually half expect Project Titan to be WOW 2).

Yeah, there is a crafting system in D3. Does it resemble WoW's...? Hard to say. You break down your rare drops for crafting ingredients just like with Disenchanting in WoW. You then use these and some gold to create a new item. I wouldn't say it's like WoW, I'd say it's like crafting from D2 made more accessible.

Umm... Is D3 separated into regions like StarCraft 2?

Yeah, it's separated into regions, just like D2.
There were four in D2 (Europe, Asia, USEast, USWest).
Three in D3 (Americas, Asia, Europe).

oh and re AH:
The Gold based AH is global.
Money based AH is regional and will not be available in Asia at release.

Not like SC2, which means that you can play the game with players from US for example, but you'll have to start new characters.

Vestin: Funnily enough - I completely respect your right to have an opinion. What I disagreed with was klaymen's response to Pheace - who merely asked for your reasons. If there's anything worth a damn in a discussion, it's people WILLING TO LISTEN to what others have to say and ASKING for explanations instead of ignoring or insulting others.
Actually, there is not much to discuss. In this very thread some people wrote why they won't buy D3 or what they don't like about it. That is all fine and dandy, but then some people's replies were in lines of "this is a non-issue for me, lulz".

Just as you have replied to Fred_DM (even though I felt a strong sarcasm in it), if you happen not to like something about succesful company or their product(s), you have to use convincing arguments (and even that might not help).

Raising your point when other make it a non-issue because they don't care or it is a non-issue for them is not worth much. It is the same as when somebody says that he has some problems with Steam or whatever, and many people reply with "I never had such problems, you gotta be kidding/trolling/whatever".

Since some of Pheace's posts were in the "this is a non-issue for me, therefore your argument is invalid" manner (though not written this way), I saw no point into explaining Y U NO LIEK DIABLO 3.

Feel free to disagree with me, hate me for my opinion or call me a troll.
Ok, now I've said my peace, time to leave this thread.

Ironicly enough, this thread has increased my interest in D3 and I might just buy it anyway. Starcraft 2 was well worth the full price for the single player alone, maybe D3 will be the same ...

O'really? Which posts are these then?

And have you considered that perhaps, I didn't write them that way as you already said, because they weren't meant to say that?

yeah, this. except that i'm actually considering going online (as in multiplayer) with D3, even though i usually only play shooters online.
I hate the conceptual idea and the basic principals Diablo 3 is based upon...

but i played the open beta, and had a crap load of fun. I just pretended it was a Torchlight clone and it worked enough to warrant the purchase ^_^ which i justify as the same price as going to dinner and a movie...

so a game that'll last me 1 week to years vs one night on the town... game wins

That's how I justified paying for a MMO ever since the first time it kept me home instead of going out into town. (where one day could save me more than a month quite easy)

Luckily I'm perfectly fine with being socially awkward xD
