Sorry to say this, but what I just experienced on GOG.com
is just about the same thing as on Outlook.com..

A 'new and improved' version, which takes much longer to load, and even at times
doesn't even follow up on a click..

This is NOT good, and this is not GOG..

GOG is supposed to be and STAY a simple site that sells software..

No long load times, no bells no whistles...

or at least make the bells and whistles optional..

I liked the fact that when I click a picture it took less than 0.1 sec for me to get an enlargement.

Now it's 1-10-never seconds.

A simple description of the game shouldn't take 10 seconds..
It should take 1 second tops..
And that was what was, but not what is..

Really ???

If you guys oughta know by now, some people don't look for change...
Like me, faster is better, and that's just about the only better we like..
More bells and whistles ? No-effin-TY...

Plz, make the new thing go away, or make it part of the client..
Don't crap up ur site like so many others..

I like that the new review section and system requirements are given more space. I hate the video autoplay.

GOG will never win, mainly with their crotchety forum users both young and old who are too personally and emotionally invested in GOG and who thought GOG would change and unite the industry and all the flower children of the world would dance in harmony. or something
I wouldn't say I dislike it. I'm less of a fan than when I first joined though. And thats down to them moving away from Good Old Games to GOG.

It was already disabled the last time I checked.

Now now, that's unfair, they only act like that on days ending in "y"

Is your internet really slow?

I ask, because the game pages load just as fast for me as they used to and the picture enlargements are instantaneous.
I'm having the same problem here. Some of the images (when you click to enlarge) aren't loading properly or fast for me. They will just hang at a loading meter for a couple of very long moments before finally materializing. The initial screenshots tend to load up fine. It wasn't like this on the old GOG set. (And before anyone asks, I have Optic Fiber)

This is an issue for me, as I depend heavily on screenshots to see if I wish to buy a new game that is being released. Other than that, the new layout is not that bad. However, I noticed that it is beginning to look a little like Steam in the way things are arranged.

In two weeks' time you all won't even remember how did the old gamecards look like. :P
No problems here with long loadings. Everything seems to be working fine.

And regarding the new layout, I'm kind of neutral to it. Not amazed nor disappointed.

The review system needed to be improved, so I like the improvements there. but I usually view the site from a phone, unless I'm going to download something, and the new store pages aren't very mobile friendly in my opinion.

I'm not liking it also. Just in phone so far. Moving screenshots is awkward due to loading time- can't tell if I'm not moving them far enough or they aren't loaded.

Search is bad, too. Not sure if that is better or not. Searching for"Witcher 3” put Witcher e as 3rd on the list. Searching for kingdom come: Deliverance didn't you'd the game at all, just dlc.

I think gog should make their site like an old school rpg. Your inventory is your shelf, a tavern for the forums, a shop for the games.
