tinyE: I saw "The Number 23" and I'm still waiting for Jim Carrey to give me my money back.

Wishbone: I've only heard bad things about it, so I've never bothered to watch it. Is it really as awful as people say?
Funny, I heard good things about it, but have never watched it. I have heard that the first 2/3 of it sucks and you have to watch it through to the end.

It's not that bad, I just couldn't think of another movie about numerology off the top of my head. TOTALLY OT but I enjoy picking on Jim Carrey since he came out and refused to push "Kick Ass 2" because he felt the content of the movie was inappropriate. This is a guy who had a character of his talk out of his ass......TWICE! Yeah, he's the one to tell me what is and is not appropriate content! :O

groundhog42: Now I always rest my left arm on a piece of foam, which has prevented any recurrence.
This is good to know and getting an approximate time of when it goes away is also good. Thanks!

El_Caz: I'm going through the same thing with Heros of Might and Magic 3. I've had to let it rest for a couple of days whenever i finish something, so I still have a life. Luckily, I'm falling asleep no matter what I'm doing around 1:am, so I never go to bed at 4:am after playing games.

Word to the wise: Don't put your elbow on the table and support your chin with your hand while playing one handed. Turns out there's a nerve there that can get inflamed and now I have this numbing feeling in my pinky finger and part of my ring finger. It takes a long time to heal and it's been over a month and I still have that numbing feeling. I've already gone to the doctor, so no concerns there.

groundhog42: I had exactly the same problem, except I experienced pins and needles in my little finger and ring finger. It took 6+ months for it to go, and I can still sometimes feel a slight sensation several years later. Now I always rest my left arm on a piece of foam, which has prevented any recurrence.
Ah so that was what that was. Like you it went away all by itself after six months or thereabouts so I didn't bother going to the doctor.
It's essentially a low grade carpal tunnel. Two weeks solid rest of the hand, with the first week in a brace, long soaks of epsom salts (1-2 cups of salts in a basin, not a bath tub of water) will fix it up quickest.

Crusader Kings II all the way. Just one more war, just one more territory, just until I assassinate the Pope...

Licurg: You should play King of Dragon Pass .
Yes, then he will never sleep.

tinyE: When I first saw this I thought, "What kind of a shithead thread is this?" Then when I realized what you were talking about I thought, "How cool!"

I actually have no interest in Civ but this thread has me thinking that maybe I should reconsider. Well done s23021536....if that is your real name! :D +1
Glad to hear it ! Civ V has, especially with its 2 expansions, grown into a massive thing. From archers to.... DEATH ROBOTS!! that unfortunately require one uranium resource each of which I only have two. England has 4 that it doesn't know about so I am contemplating a full on airborne assault to take Nottingham. Then I can afford 4 of the DEATH ROBOTSSS and 2 nukes!! and then.... on a continent far far away... VENICE WILL PAY!!!!! and then Egypt - the bastards... At least in this game I have not had to put up with Ghandi...
(I think they toned him down a bit perhaps in V - in IV he was a warmongering psychopath)

Ha, I love what you said. Its so true since I don't care what the next turn will bring. I just want to wait the 8 turns until my settlers are available or the 12 turns till I've built The Great Wall or "the Babylonians have declared war on me, ok fine, I'll just finish them off and then save and quit till later."

Sid really came up with something ingenious when he created this game and with the sequels.

Good luck getting that uranium!
I always preferred the original Mount and Blade, which for me one more minute turned into 16 hours. What was I doing again? Oh yeah, Mount and Blade.
