dedoporno: To be honest I'm still not sure about the situation on 5 (3 v 2),
Voting blindly has a high enough probability of hitting imp. However unlike 4 vs 2, a misvote is immediate loss, so there is a theoretical advantage of skippin
4 vs 2 on the other hand has no advantage of skipping. A double kill is practically as deadly as a single kill.
To put it in a table:
6:
Good vote (33%): on way to winning
Misvote: high probability of dying.
Skip: high probability of dying
(i.e. no reason to skip, it's as bad as misvoting)
5:
Good vote (40%): on way to winning
Misvote: death
skip: high probability of dying
(i.e. there *is* a reason to skip, even though it's a high probability of dying it's better than certain death)
However, even though 5 has a reason to skip, the good vote has a higher blind chance. So anything that can raise those votes, even weak sus, becomes a reason to vote.
Conclusion:
6: definitely vote.
5: Vote if you have decent sus. Or if you have too many tasks to finish. Skip if you can win quickly by tasking and you have absolutely no clue on sus.
dedoporno: . The second part about 4 (3:1) is absolutely wrong, though. You only vote on 4 if you're sure or at least pretty sure.
Yup. Voting on 3:1 is absolutely wrong. It's a similar situation to 3vs1 in Vanilla Mafia where, barring a damning evidence (which in vanilla mafia you can't get), it's better to NL.
Vitek: "However, at certain points the crew must make a vote, such as when 5 players remain with 2 imposters or when there are 3 players and 1 imposter." dedoporno: The second part about 4 (3:1) is absolutely wrong, though. You only vote on 4 if you're sure or at least pretty sure.
I think however, the second part of Vitek's quote refered to 2 vs 1.
"you have 3 players (total) and 1 impostor."
