We're launching the weekend early this week as good things should last longer. You've been waiting for this promo for a while, and it's finally here!

You knew this day will finally come, and at last you can grab the great Dungeons & Dragons classics, including Baldur's Gate, Planescape: Torment or Neverwinter Nights, for prices so crazy you have to figure that we're Chaotic Neutral. With this deal we're also testing a totally new promo system that gives you a bigger discount the more games you buy in one order. We're starting with a 20% discount if you buy one game from the offer. Every another game from the promo that you add to the order increases your discount with another 5%, so 2 games get you 25% off, 3 games get you 30% off and so on, until you get a 60% discount on your order of the whole D&D collection. Of course if you already own some of the games from the promo they will count towards your final discount!

The promo ends on Monday, September 26 at 11:59 p.m. EDT, so there's no time to lose, and you'll never know when a similar occasion will happen again.

Okay, thanks. I guess it's worth spending 5 euros for some new adventures with the Infinity engine. Besides, I never played the English version of BG and back in the days I rushed through it, just so I could play BG2. Who knows, maybe I'll actually get in the mood to replay and learn to appreciate BG for what it is. :)
Tales of the Sword Coast adds Durlag's Tower to Baldur's Gate, arguably the best dungeon in the series. Yeah, it's worth getting BG again just for TotSC.
Sadly, I can't put money in my paypal account before the promo ends. Oh yeah, that's suck. But if you have any means to buy without paypal nor credit card, I'm all in.
Judging how high Demon Stone and Dragonshard have shot up the best selling list I'd say the test for the new promo style was a great success.

Of course it didn't hurt that they were bundled with a number of the best RPGs ever.

I picked up all 8 that I didn't have, for less than I probably paid for the Throne of Bhaal expansion when it came out. Crazy.

I remember when I first played Tales of the Sword Coast after it was released, I couldn't enjoy it because I was too distracted by the fact that it was so different from the original game. It took me over a decade to learn to appreciate it for what it is, and today Durlag's Tower is one of my favorite dungeons in any computer game. It's a classic, and it's a true gem.

what games do you want?
Got the last IWD & NWN, also got Demon stone and Drangonshard just to finish the collection.

I can say this, I will Never play Demon Stones XD

The Sword of Gith belong to the Hero of NWN2 not some morron in a Drizzt fanboy game.
Hello, Santa. I mean GOG.

I already possess some of them, while the latest ones doesn't attract me.
But this four best are what I aim for:
* BALDUR'S GATE: THE ORIGINAL SAGA
* ICEWIND DALE COMPLETE
* ICEWIND DALE 2 COMPLETE
* TEMPLE OF ELEMENTAL EVIL

In fact, I could pay through moneybookers, which support directebanking. Sadly, gog.com doesn't support this method.
Thanks GOG :)
I managed to persuade significant other that this would be a great Christmas+Birthday pressie (I won't get a chance to play them before anyway).

Already had BG1 but picked up all the others - I was umming and ahhing over Dragonshard as I don't normally do strategies but for that price I'll give it a go. The others were a sure thing.

If I disappear now, know that I'm lost in the Forgotten Realms or somewhere ;)
(though in truth I'll be hanging round the forums from w*rk anyway)
I can't be arsed to read 20 pages of this thread in what has to be the biggest amount of comments ever to accompany a promo sale...I can only imagine the amount of whinging going on. I wonder if GOG has a higher percentage of penny-pinchers or the desperately poor compared to other websites. In any event...

Ever since Ubisoft signed on and brought with them a catalog of many of my favorite computer games of all time, I've bided my time to a point where I could purchase most of them at a discount (since I already own disc copies of all the catalog I'm really interested in). The Christmas sale was one, and a contest from a generous GOGer was another. Now this fabulous sale. True, I'm not interested in Demonstone or Dragonshard, found ToEE to be the runt of the isometric D&D games, and already own Neverwinter Nights: Platinum edition on DVD so am not terribly motivated to buy it over again in DD format. Already own BG 1/2, PS:T, and IWD 1, so that leaves by default, Icewind Dale 2.

$5.99 vs the usual $10. I bought it thankfully.

Did I benefit the most price-wise from this sale based on what I already owned? No. Am I glad the sale came about? Abso-fucking-lutely.

In such a good mood I also bought WC3 for good measure (a purchase I made a note to eventually do). It combined with the Kilrathi Saga version of WC1/2 will make a fine evening of dogfighting.

give me your email and I'll gift you ToEE. I'd do more, but I'm low on cash as it is :(
