Thanks for the pleasant necro, Melhelix! ;-)

Not in, but +1
I'm trying to decide if it's morally objectionable to be in two giveaways for the same game at the same time...

Anyway, I'm in for Torchlight, again.

Ahem...

"Old father Long-Legs
Can’t say his prayers:
Take him by the left leg,
And throw him down the stairs.
And when he’s at the bottom,
Before he long has lain,
Take him by the right leg,
And throw him up again."

Thanks for the giveaway.
cool, in for shadowrun

absurd tech gadget: the continuum transfunctioner

"A device whose mystery is only exceeded by its power."

-Chucks a pokeball at wild Melhelix, fails to capture- Shit.

Well, since I can't expand my collection of Pokemon, I'll just have to enter for Shadowrun Returns.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinetic_bombardment

And on that note, Kinetic Bombardment, an orbital strike weapon that doesn't defy the current laws of putting nuclear weapons into orbit, yet would yield the potential explosive equivalent of a small nuclear device.
Thanks for the giveaway, Melhelix!

I'm in for Shelter. The floofiest animal is the cutest and deadliest Angora Rabbit
Cool! Thanks for the opportunity! I'm in for Shadowrun Returns!

There is an original Star Trek episode "By Any Other Name" and the beings who have taken human form have a belt device that does pretty much whatever they want. They use it to instantly turn a living organism into a block made up of all the chemical elements of the being and even include personality in the forming of the cube so that they can reconstitute the being at will (with use of their belt!) If the block is destroyed, so is the being, but otherwise that state can be maintained indefinitely. Pretty crazy cool!
Excellent giveaway Melhelix! Thanks and +1!

I'm in for Shadowrun Returns!

So let's first see what is a classical pressure sensor => MEMS Pressure sensor explained by Bosch. As you already found, the key component is the membrane, because it registers the pressure. The 'absurd tech gadget thing' that I want to explain you could be found here Pressure-sensing technology and more specifically the last sentence of the Optical way of sensing pressure: "Another analogous technique utilizes an elastic film constructed in layers that can change reflected wavelengths according to the applied pressure (strain)." Basically the hologram is a multilayered structure that when viewed from different angles, reflect the light in a different wavelength and that way we see it as different colors. So the quoted PhD student Juan Leonardo Martinez-Hurtado researched elastic holograms that you can imagine like a transparent or semi transparent hologram sticker, like in this video (omg what a manicure) that could be used to replace the membrane in the classical mems (micro-electro-mechanical-semiconductor) design. The whole sensor/device will look like this Elastic hologram membrane that when in rest will let thru let say violet light at 420nm and when pressured will let thru blue light at 470nm, below you'll have a photo sensor or else photodiode that converts the colored light passing thru the holo-membrane in electrical current proportional to the wavelength of the light - in other not so mathematical words, for the violet light you have 0.2 A current at the end and for blue light (stressed membrane) you have more = 0.3 amperes current coming out from the photodiode, this photodiode selectivity is represented by his spectral responsivity. And from there you have some signal processing circuitry like in the Bosch video. :)

Thanks for this giveaway, and +1!  I'd like to enter for babark! :-)

An absurd tech gadget?  Probably the Remote Wrangler!  There's also the PC HabiCase, but it's only an April Fool's product from ThinkGeek! :-D
Thanks for the giveaway, I am in for Shadowrun Returns!

Bluetooth Handset Gloves - Talk on the phone by extending your thumb and pinky-finger.
"There are a few fairly universal pantomimes that everybody in the civilized world understands, regardless of culture. Shake your head for 'no,' scribbling in mid-air for 'check-please,' thumb-and-pinky held up to the ear for 'call-me.' While we're not sure exactly when it was that the 'call-me' pantomime appeared in our collective cultural jargonplex, we have it on good authority Bell's assistant Watson would surreptitiously make the gesture to Mrs. Bell, much to her husband's consternation.

It is embarrassing, then, to admit that it took 136 years for us to turn a universally recognized gesture into an actual working way to talk on the phone. Behold the telephone of the future, built right into your winter gloves! Warm gloves with conductive fibers let you operate your touch-screen phones and other devices - but with extra added Bluetooth capabilities!

In the left glove's thumb is a tiny speaker, and in the pinky is a wee microphone. By extending them both in the usual hand-gesture, you can chat with your friends for up to 20 hours on a charge! Gone are the days where talking into thin air will brand you a crazy-person! Now you can show the world that you can actually talk to the hand, and with excellent sound-quality!"

Now that's some FLOOF! chadjenofsky wins Shelter.

Well, that disturbing rhyme wins bad_fur_day1 a Torchlight.

And finally, _Slaugh_'s absurd Remote Wrangler velcroes Shadowrun Returns to babark's head.

Thanks for playing everyone!

Yes, much like the Anglerfish, the Angora Rabbit lures its prey to pet it. Once a hand is near, the rabbit viscously bares its fangs and eviscerates its victim. They travel in packs (clever girl!)

Anyway, Thank you very much for the giveaway, Melhelix! I hear it's a cross between GTA and Doom….not. :-)
Congrats to the winners!

The Wrangler is quite an...odd device. I wonder how many they sell :D. But thanks for that to both of you! And congrats to the other winners as well.
Just thought I'd stop back in and say I'm enjoying the game a lot, thanks Melhelix. I quite like how you can sort of multi class. It's light but it's somewhat in it's advantage, you can jump in and out quickly for a bit of dungeon looting and explosions anytime easily. I picked the ferret and called him Felix.
