The buzz around GOG's closure and re-opening has slowly faded away and we wanted to sum up the beta stage with a special gift for all those who have been with us during that period. Two years ago we began our revival of all-time PC-gaming classics for all you fans of good old games. Through ups and downs we’ve received a lot of support from the best community we could ever imagine (that’s you!) and we want to thank everyone who’s been with us through our beta stage with a special gift.

Any user who created an account before we closed down the site and moved out of beta (that's September 20, 2010) will receive Jagged Alliance: Deadly Games for free! We'll be adding the game automatically to your accounts during the next days, so don't worry if the game is not yet there.

Of course, we're not forgetting about all those users who joined the GOG family in the last few weeks. Together with Strategy First we're launching a special promotion to offer their GOG catalogue at a 50% discount.

If you've been a part of GOG beta and you already bought Jagged Alliance: Deadly Games, please click here, as we have an alternative gift for you.

Thanks for being with us!
WOW nice move GOG

Even better: it's the only Game in the line I didn't already have on a Disc, so I was already willing to buy it sometimes

Thank you GOG!
Chalk up another reason for me to love GOG.com
That was really cool

Duffadash: Don't be ungrateful just because your FREE (awesome) game has crappy graphics... It's not like other games here are that expensive anyways... Give it a try, and if you don't like it, give the installer to a friend who will... And buy Planescape, Sacrifice or Duke Nukem 3D or something...

PirateNeilsouth: As for me who used to play games on an amstrad cpc with green screen i don't give a toss about the graphics. But i do with a shitty game , this isn't a gift it's like giving someone a pair of socks for christmas.
You never know, sometimes you actually need the socks! :-P
I know I do, most of mine have holes.

Relatedly, I never really considered buying this game, but now that I've gotten it for free, I'll try it out - in some ways, things you *weren't* planning on getting are the best, since at least some of the time you discover something cool. :-)
...I would rather a game of my choice, I despise turn based strategies.

Thanks a lot, GoG tean! :)
Pure awesome
GOG thanks a lot for the unexpected gift! So appreciated!
May I add my thanks to that of the other posters. A splendid gesture, much appreciated.

Not a game I would have bought myself or might be interested in but I’ll give it a whirl at some point. I might end up liking it.
Thanks GOG, such a nice gesture.
Thx for a gift, I've been member for about an year, but never bought any game from you. This was probably the right push for me to actually buy one. ;) Syberia 2 for 9.99! I loved the first game and missed the 2nd when it was in stores.

Good luck with this awesome site and hopefully more good old games in near future!
Thank you very much, certainly came as a surprise and much appreciated :-)
Not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, but the reason I hadn't bought JADG before was because I already have the original on CD, so now I have the game twice :P

But it's a nice thought all the same, and I managed to profit from the Tex Murphy giveaway a year ago :)
