Can we play as a non binary person with they/them pronouns?

Thanks for the explanation. Btw, they as singular pronouns exists and would likely fit a post gender binary future better. Tho obviously i do not expect you to change the game when its gonna release this year.

Good to know. As long as I can somehow create the character I want than I'm satisfied. Because it seems to be declared as a RPG wich means imho: Create your own character, not play as an already made. Wether girl or boy or nonbinary, I dont care. Just not sort of an already prebuilt :D

I was interested in Battletech, until they meddled with this, now it is way down my "to buy list"
Solasta did the same, got to the same spot way down the "to buy list"

But to be clear about where this comes from, in my motherlanguage using the

If there are REALLY ppl out there, that play this game and want the
pronouns in. There is a rly simple solution to this.

The Developers could simply provide a free mini DLC for that stuff.
Anybody who wants it in, can use the DLC, anybody else would never see it
and enjoy just the regular game without being forced to see this crap they want
to escape from.

Just make this Anshar Studios since i think this would be a good compromise.
But we all know how it WILL end, it is never enough, ppl that only live in their
twitter bubble will demand that the game ll tick certain boxes.
While they ll never play it in the first place, from my point of view and as far as i
did follow this american nonsense, every franchise that got "touched" by them
is stained now. Even rightout destroyed.

As i said, Anshar Studios if you feel the "NEED" to implement this stuff, do it via
free mini DLC so ppl have the CHOICE to use it or not.
(we will then see if that ll be enough)

If they put it into the base it would still be optional for you to use, I very much doubt they'd be forcing you to create a non binary PC. What's so troublesome about simply having another option?

SIMPLE make it a additional FREE DLC and all those who want to meddle with this
nonsense are good to go, while the rest of us can still enjoy their Hobby without
being pestered with those things.

Its troublesome because those are real world politics infiltrating things that we as
players use to escape exactly said politics and rl issues. Just look at what happend to comics
movies and now games, they try to push their agendas on us, claiming we re the
"bad" ppl if we do not abide by THEIR standards... while the standards they use
are close minded and all the other things they claim we are.

Like GHOSTMD elegantly put it, it will never be enough for people who want all those fantasy genders. It always gets suggested as optional and longer down the road it'll be enforced kinda like how all triple-A games have become fantasy games even when they are based on real-world events.

I for one won't buy games that enforce diversity for the sake of it. I don't need somebody's fantasy notion of gender or history. This only gets done so they can live in their delusional bubble. Nearly every media panders to a crowd who barely consumes the product they complain about. At least the effects of this are getting clearer and companies that do are losing money.

I just can't imagine that adding an option that can easily be ignored would cause any sort of distress to anyone. It just doesn't feel very forced onto me, unless you consider the very availability of such an option to be an assault on your sensibilities and personal worldview. But if that is the case then I would argue that you shouldn't look into buying games that have elements of transhumanism and other futuristic views on human society as a whole. Expecting completely unchanged societal views in a game that takes place hundred(s) of years in the future probably isn't very realistic in my opinion.

But I am probably going off-topic here. Regardless, I'm not going to nitpick your argument. I'm just saying that the optional availability of something that doesn't impact you maybe shouldn't be a strong point of contention. But that is for you to decide.

Because it go ignored and even openly embraced, which was one of the main perks of the whole
gaming community. However, if that is not such a big thing why not take my solution i made, to make
the ppl who RLY want this, happy? Why it HAS to be in the base game? Because it is a realistic
depiction? Yeee see thats the thing i wanna play gamedec to ESCAPE reality. Despite i think even in
100 years or even 1000 years 99% of the folks will be either female or male even though they ll be
able to be a genitalia switching dolphin in the virtual reality. But i am pretty sure even then it will

Did you ever dive into TES modding or Fallout for that matter? There are so many options, everybody
can choose from, you know why there is no anger and twitter "rage" about this? Because those
mods function just like i suggested with the mini DLC. That is simple the best way to not disrupt
anybody with weird pronouns and whatnot in the main game.

But that is not what twitter aims for, since those guys are fake, all what i have seen so far is
that they do it for attention and to destroy things. If you believe it is not true, look at the main
stream comic industry. Or movies, or the shit games like Ion Fury got for giving into the demands.

No... the best way to deal with this, is not meddling with it at all, or if you give the options
because options are always nice to have, make it a DLC. So everybody is happy.
