Hello! I'm hoping you can help me. I haven't had any problems downloading or playing this game. However, the graphics are terrible on my computer. I've tried messing with the graphic mode set up, but the graphics don't come close to what is shown on this site. I'm running on Windows Xp and everything is up to date. Any help or suggestions you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!

Here is a patch that updates the installer and makes the game run better on modern computers... http://gkpatches.vogons.zetafleet.com/

Ahem, sorry - but there's really NOT any need for patches, since the game From gog is already patched up.
It will not help to use any other installer.
Instead after the game is installed, go into your game folder and find the umm setupgraphic file or something... you can then mess around with different settings :)
Maybe you could take a screenshot for us? In what way are your graphics worse than the screenshots?
You could simply have too high expectations -- the backgrounds in the game are in a really low resolution (320x200) that looks quite bad when viewed fullscreen, especially on a modern flat screen monitor, but you get used to it quickly though.
edit: Also, the patch that was mentioned is really nice but pretty much requires 32-bit Windows XP and it doesn't run on a 64-bit system at all. It uses the Win95 version of the game instead of the DOS version. The difference from simply using the DOS version (the one GOG uses) is slim though, and you definitely don't get any graphical improvement except getting the rare FMV presentations shown in double size. Actually the mouse cursors are a lot prettier in the DOS version.
