I just downloaded and installed the latest FTL 1.6.13 GOG version. I wanted to install some mods. I downloaded the slipstream mod manager and some mods. When I tried running slipstream it asked me to locate the data.dat file. I couldn't find it. Not in the games main directory or the save directory in the my games folder. I did a search of my c: and it found nothing anywhere.

Is there some kind of hidden directory now? If so could someone point me to it.

Thanks

From what I googled, since version 1.6 there's no longer data.dat file - it was replaced by ftl.dat. It looks like you're not using latest Spltstream version.

That was it exactly. The link I used took me to slipstream version1.41. I went directly to Sourceforge this time and downloaded 1.91. As you mentioned when I ran sliptream this time it asked me to locate FTL.dat.

Thanks again
