I go to download Freespace 1 and 2, and I get:

Access Violation at address 004D8212 in module setup freespace 2.exe. Write of address 00401000.

I've downloaded via the gog downloader, i've even set compatability mode and nothing works.

Contacted support haven't heard back from them, still haven't been able to install the games.

They don't work weekends ... and they are very, very slow. Have you tried downloading via browser? The GOG downloader is quite finicky ...
