Or did I install it wrong? It has weird starlight backgrounds at the beginning and such.

I like the music, but it feels a bit unplayable. I thought it was supposed to be a serious upgrade? Other than the sound, it seems a lot worse than the default PoR provided for in the collection.

Did you install UAShell before you tried it? That's an essential requirement for playing hacked modules like the Realm designs (game...zip). Without it, the hacks won't be applied correctly and everything will look and feel weird.

If you're already running the game with UAShell, can you post a screenshot and describe with more detail what you don't like about it? I noticed the module does have a somewhat ugly UI, but if that's your main problem with it, it could be easily rectified.
