Okay, it's been a LOOOOOOONG time since I was on GOG, and even longer since I played the old Gold Box SSI games. So what I understand from reading here is that the DOS emulator comes with the download, and launches on it's own when you launch the appropriate game? (Some people seem to have had some technically difficulties?) This is why I didn't try to play any of these games again until now, since messing with the DOS emulator seemed a waste of time to me.

Also, second question, are the Krynn games available through GOG or not? These forums give conflicting reports.

The games come packaged with DOSBox, a DOS emulator, configured to run the games without having to worry about settings.

The Krynn games, I believe, are not available through GOG yet, but some say they will be available soon-ish.
Thanks. Also, are the journals included as PDFs or something?

Yes, all of the documentation is included, including the cluebooks for those games that had one (Unlimited Adventures and Dungeon Hack did not have cluebooks). Code wheel apps are included with Pool of Radiance, Hillsfar and Curse of the Azure Bonds. Plus, most (if not all) have had the copy protection removed so no more looking up words in manuals or code wheel hi-jinks just to play. =)
