Well, to clarify all I've done is run the game in Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode, this seemed to be the one most people were saying fixed their issues. I also tried SP2 though since that's my preferred. I made sure my anti-virus was off during some of the attempts, just in case it was the cause of the freeze. That's about all I've tried so far. If you need me to go into more detail just ask, though I'm not sure what else I could expand on.

I assume enabling SafeDisc did not work then... The game does have DRM and has not been cleaned of it.... I doubt using a true no/cd crack would work if enabling SafeDisc didn't work... but you can try gamecopyworld.com and see if that helps.

I don't use windows 10, but my comment was more about giving details (never underestimate how many people might '"try compatibility mode" but select something the game is incompatable with... until a person says exactly what he did, it is best to assume it was never done.

you shouldn't need a wrapper like dgvoodoo either for this game... but don't know how to help... sorry.

Found a fix on the Steam discussions. Set compatibility to XP (service pack 2) and disable full screen optimisations, further down the list.
