I *know* I bought all three of the fallout games here during a prior sale - I even gifted a couple copies of all three to friends during the sale. (Though only one redeemed them in time before the freebie codes got disabled.)

However,

Now all of the Fallouts have disappeared from my "bookshelf"..

WTF??

Unfortunately, with all the games I've bought from here I never actually downloaded the installers..

If GOG is going to retract Games that I've PAID for they at least warn me so I can DL them before they disappear!!

Anyone else with the same problem?

Have you tried opening https://secure.gog.com/account/refresh while being logged in?

Have you activated the games by redeeming a gift code or did you directly buy it for your account?

Anyway, if they don't reappear contact support, they're usually very helpful.

I looked over your account and couldn't find any canceled order which would contain the Fallout games. Do you have a confirmation e-mail for the Fallout order somwehre? If so, please send me the Order ID, which can be found there.
Ideally, please contact me via PM.

Yes, I did do the refresh - I found that hint in support before posting here.

The worst thing is in finding out (after posting) that GOG is losing it's rights tomorrow so I don't even have the option of simply waiting for another sales or something.

And, even if I was willing to by through Steam, posts on Reddit indicate the Steam version is less compatible with newer OSes than GOGs..

Dude, if you have the confirmation e-mail, talk with Firek (see above ^). GOG is honest business, if you bought the games, you'll have them back.

That's part of my problem - I'm on a new computer (lost all old email over a month or so old, dead HDD) so I have no actual "proof".. *SIGH*

Irony is I gifted 3 people the games when they were giving out codes.. And yet now I don't own them, now.. and the clock is ticking.

Oh, and I have PMed him.. (no response yet.)

And to their credit, without me being able to produce proof, what are they supposed to do?

If it weren't for them going away, I'd just cut my losses, wait for another sale and buy them.. (Or if I noticed earlier, I would at least have bought them during the Winter Sale..)

At this point I'm more mystified than anything.. my initial shock (anger) having worn off after last night.. Sorry it sounded so pissed off.

All this after I "took one for the team" by actually *buying* one of the 25 "last chance" copies of Jack Keane 2 near the end of the Insomia Sale, just to help get the counter past that game and onto the games people (including myself) really wanted.

I thought that would've been *good* Karma, sacrificing myself! ;-P

Shouldn't your mail be stored on the servers of your e-mail provider? I don't know how things work with Outlook (never used it myself) but if you are using Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo or some such mail service relying on port 80, you should have all your old e-mail stored on your account. Unless you deleted it. Something I never do with stuff from GOG, Steam, GG etc.

That is a bummer, either way. I have unredeemed code for the recent giveaway. Would like to forward it to you, but it is useless now, as I'm sure you know.

Somehow my reply didn't post. Here we go again:

Home Email = Cable Company = POP3 not IMAP/Exchange, so email deletes off server once downloaded. :-(

Yeah, I actually have two unused gift codes myself that I sent to friends that never got claimed (in time), but like you said they do me no good anymore now.
