Hi there,
I'm trying to get Sfall to work in Fallout 1. I read that the TeamX 1.2. patch is supposed to essentiall turn my installed version of Fallout into the US 1.2. version, and I can at least confirm that the game now has children in it; but when I install Sfall over it and try to start the game I get the error message " You're trying to use sfall with an incompatible version of fallout Was expecting 'Fallout 2 v.1.02 US' "
An ideas?

I bolded your problem. I don't think Sfall works in fallout 1 you want
Timeslips engine tweaks(same guy that made sfall)

for fallout 1.
I hadn't realized that was another mod, but that is actually the very one I tried :/

There are different versions of SFALL for Fallout 1 and Fallout 2.
As Ralackk says, it looks like you're using the wrong one.
There are links to both versions in this post :

I don't know if it's the latest version for Fallout 1.

Kezardin: I don't know if it's the latest version for Fallout 1.

It should be. As far as I know the 1.18e was last version to be released for Fallout 1.
Btw, the TeamX's fallout 1 patches at NMA don't seem to be up to date. You can find the latest at TeamX's home page or from my site by going Links -> Infinity Engine and scrolling down near the end of the page.

Great website, bookmarked. I even see my name listed, lol. Thanks for the credit in the Arcanum section!

Considering we wouldn't have gotten the module without you, giving you credit for it is IMHO the right thing to do.

That's because GOG has changed the way to link to specific post. Here's the repaired link.
Thx a lot. Is there a way to have sfall and the high res mod installed? Im doing a Fallout 1 Lets Play at the moment, high res patch would be cool.
thanks for the tips here. the link in the sticky post for sfall don`t work and NMA don`t have it anymore. Without sfall i could only use 8 bits
For all your Fallout 1 modding needs, I'd like to point you to the recent update of Fallout 1 FIXT. In addition to adding sfall into one big package, the news post also mentions the possibility of porting FO1 to the FO2 engine. That would be a good incentive into (re)playing both games.
