Does anyone know how to install patches for Fallout 1 and 2? I know they come in a zip folder but i dont know what to do with it. I unzip them but i dont know what to do with the files. Also does anyone know where the offical patches for these games are(i.e unlimited time limit for fallout 1, fix bugs, glitches, ect.) Thanks!
Well, if you have the GoG versions, you don't need those.
If you don't have the GoG versions, you should get them. Worth it for easy installs alone.
Failing that

Just, for the love of all that is holy, don't register and post there. NMA proves, without a doubt, that rabid fanboyism is not restricted to our console-oriented cousins.

Same goes with Duck and Cover.
Hey,
I assume it's the same for fallout 2, but I followed Kannabie's advice when I installed MOD's for the first time:
"just unzip the patch to your fallout folder and agree to all what your system has to say to you. after that - start a new game, cause old saves are incompatible with this patch. all the rest you'll get to know when you finish the game."
For the resolution MOD, you have to double click the black and white file that you get when you extract it. I just followed the defaults, okay'd everything and it worked for me!
There is some useful stuff here if you haven't already checked it out:
